:yess:

Agree he does look better with the eye/eyebrow mods - but HT will probably fix it before release. I'm ordering regardless, been waiting far too long for a Doc!! :rock

I actually just posted a comparison pic of that to the prototype. It'll be great in the end.

Hmmmm I don't think we'll see anything as good as the mod from Freakazoid but small tweaks here and there can at least improve it a little.

I like the direction HT has taken with these extreme expressions. This, Harley Quinn. Haven't seen that since the Laughing Heath Ledger Joker. We need more of that.

Doc should really come with 2 head sculpts. One extreme like this and one more neutral.

Eh, he looks good overall and I'll probably get it, but as others have mentioned, there's something about it that's a bit off. I don't really care for the expression myself, as to me, the only pose you can really put him in with that expression is "Damn! I'm late!"

As mentioned, looks good overall and I'll probably end up getting him to go with Marty because I really would like a BttF II display, but I think the Marty figure is more impressive.

Looks like Tom Cruise.

I noticed this seems to be a name that pops up quite often when people say a sculpt intended to look like someone looks like someone else. :lol

Life is just more fun with humour. Especially when we're talking about adults collecting toys. I can't wait for Doc to come up for PO, instant purchase. I hope HT's tweaks the eyebrows, but not likely. And, I'm very happy with the new head sculpt for BTTF II Marty.

More than anything, I'm just disappointed in the distinct lack of Einstein.
I want an Einstein too. I guess technically he's not in the scene represented by this figure but neither is the briefcase full of currencies or the walkie talkie.

Glad to hear it's not the final. Can't wait to see the revisions. Now I have to ask myself if I should cut off this hair and lay some real hair

That expression is hilarious :lol Chris Lloyd for sure :lol

I think I will leave the shades on though

So who's got the better likeness, Hot Toys or McDonald's? :wink1:

:lol I remember being a kid and always wanting figures from the trilogy but those McDonald's toys from the cartoon were all that were available (aside from various DeLorean toys). I had this one, Marty on a Hoverboard, and Einstein in a train. They're probably still around somewhere actually. I'm glad to finally get some figures to represent the films.

I think from side angles he looks pretty good. Not as great of a likeness overall though as I'd hoped. Guessing that's why the visor was left on at SDCC. Hair is too 'perfect' also. Maybe doll hair was the way to go here. They'll probably tweak him a bit before release. Hopefully for the better.
