To buy or not to buy that is the question? Usually its an easy decision for me but not with this figure. I really want her to complete my guardians display and I like the sculpt but her rubber body, light accessories, rooted hair, and fact that SSC cannot sell their stock are all turn offs. If I decide a year from now that I don't want her anymore odds are I'll have a hell of a time selling her, much like The Wolverine, Jor El and Amazing Spiderman. To all current owners of Gamora, Are there any other compelling reasons why I should buy her other then for "the sake of completing the guardians team"? If she was the only guardian Hot Toys made would you still have bought her???

Is the color discrepancy between the head and body that noticeable in hand?

As with most features you might deem as imperfections, if you're looking for them, you can find them, but if you're asking whether the color difference between the two materials is glaring, or jarring I'd say absolutely not. I don't think I would have even noticed if you hadn't pointed it out!

That makes two of us! Great pictures of a great figure. And look at those elbow bends!

Mine looks great but the left arms elbow seems kinda thin. Really don't want to bend that arm at all. The right one seems thicker though, so no real scares with that one.

That's the thing though I don't like the character on her own enough to buy her, i only want her to complete the team. Deep down i know that is not a good enough reason to buy her which is why i haven't pulled the trigger yet. I think i am just looking for positive reinforcement, for people tell me she is worth it so i can justify the purchase to myself.

The fact that you're trying to convince yourself to buy a 1/6 scale representation of a movie character you don't care much about says to me that you should just pass on this. Put the money towards something else, especially if you're already thinking about selling the damn thing before even buying it.

I'm sure plenty of people will be getting Avengers figures without the need to have the whole team. These figures are expensive, so just buying for the sake of filling in a gap isn't the best idea.

Dont get me wrong, i dont dislike her character but with the guardians the whole is greater then the sum of its parts. The team is everything. Which is why we will never see a gamora or starlord solo movie like we get with the avengers.

I just ordered her AMEX sent me a statement credit offer so it work out to $155 shipped which is what I was comfortable paying, I wouldn't have gone near $200 for her. I should have her this week.

OK, this is my first figure with rooted hair. I was futzing with her post last night, and I feel like I need some training in hairstyling. Or at least a tiny comb, and a way to get a small amount of water onto only her hair. For that, I am thinking of using my airbrush, but does anyone have a link to a small comb? Or any other hairstyling advice?
