So Man of Collectables “legit insider scoop” of rumoured releases is a misinformation spreader for now. Now it’s considered as “work in progress” as they might be in the drawing boards or scrapped (I did read that particular thread and just got me more disinterested).

It took over FIVE YEARS for the Solo Snow Trooper to be officially solicited after tease and I’m feeling that if Rain (Callie Spaney) gets very delayed and pushed back further, there are going to be collectors that are loosing interest in getting her after over 5/6 years or more (not to mention one 1:12 company has lost more existing customers after so many delays and ZERO updates on their Social Pages about why so character has been pushed back for specific reasons).

If we get more Alien sequels with Rain taking over the Ripley role of the franchise I can see people wanting Rain in the collection if not that specific version.

Very few of my favourite franchises actually get figures so il take whatever I can get and really hope this figure goes up for order.

There's another thread where people are putting a lot of faith in what that guy says and I just cant with people who claim to have insider info, they then use that to gain popularity and use weekly meetings to beg for donations with the promise of releasing more information. It's a scam.

I think that they are attention seeking and want people to hear them babble about nonsense.

Seeing that reminded me of their tease for the Valerian figures:

I can't even remember the film, or the comic for that matter, but I liked the look of Laureline in her suit.

You can't find those "Coming Soon" pages directly on Sideshow's site or find the characters by searching, but searching for them via Google show that they are still there, but somehow hidden:

The six and a half year tease for the Range Trooper is a case in point that nothing's ever truly gone, though it very likely is.

Funny that the Valerian pages can still be found via external search, but the Prometheus page has been exterminated, though we are talking about a decade old tease.

Prometheus was my intro to the IP without even knowing what Alien was or the connection, so you betcha I’d love Prometheus representation.

For me I’d want:

• David and Shaw (both suited and clean)
• Shaw (dusty, battle damage) w/ axe and decapitated David head w/ bag
• The Engineer

Enjoying a little Alien movie marathon this past weekend, and I’m currently watching Romulus lol.

I need Rain. Need David and Shaw. Need Aliens Ripley with pulse rifle (and Power Loader) 2.0. Last but not least, Big Chap 2.0 of course. I don’t think I need anyone from Covenant, Alien3, or Resurrection.

So the teases for Prometheus and Valerian were during the movie run, but nothing was done afterwards (honestly typical HT in showing off stuff and shoved under the rug when it’s over, never to be spoken again).

Never ever trust Man of Collectable’s “legitimate source of 1/6 leaks” until it’s officially announced by the proper authorities. It’s like: “Oh, my friend of a friend from an another friend has told me so and so and this the next hottest item”.

Side note to rub more salt deeper into the existing wound (don’t quote me on this): So I take it that Naru (from Prey) is a another character not going to be made…
