Chances are you will be able to pick this up once it is actually released at retail cost. But eventually they do tend to sell out, and go for more on the aftermarket. . .mostly.

Honestly being as picky as I am for accuracy with aliens, this is miles ahead of anything else Alien that hot toys has done.
I'm not sure on getting it yet though, might just get the Neca 1/4 scale. Im definitely a little tempted to get it just to see what all the hype around hot toys is about.

so a big chap is not confirmed? I just sold all my hot toys saying to myself I would only get a Keaton Batman, T-800, and an Alien. And look at that a new alien is released. Would rather have a big chap but this is looking pretty good.

Big Chap has not been confirmed, or really even suggested that I know of. Just this Aliens Warrior, Ripley from Alien, and an Aliens Ripley with power loader.

Something about having one of the Aliens out of 100 alien warriors isn't as cool as having THE big chap. Oh well Ill wait and see.

^ I agree, and I am still a little skeptical of the rubber joints issue etc. Some first look reviews will tip my decision for this guy either in favor of or against based on what the in hand result is.

I remember picking up there first alien brown version around 8 or 9 years ago for $110 at Forbiden planet in NYC . I couldn't believe I was paying that much for a 1/6 toy back then and now these prices .

I agree. Even accounting for inflation, I refuse to support these ridiculous prices. My 1st HotToy cost me $85. MMS02

Im not expecting HT to blow me away with their Alien announcements on Alien Day but a small part of me would still like to be pleasantly surprised if that makes sense. If we get just Alien and Aliens Ripley and the Loader and Warrior that would be great but a surprise reveal of some marines or heck crew from the Nostromo would be ace.
