Man i want this but i dont know how this month and next month will play out for my finances. I have scarlet witch and avp elder po'ed through sideshow with a deposit, so i have to get those 1st. This thing is a little pricier than i would like too.

This thing is hell pricey if you consider it just a compromise in lieu of a Big Chap.

Why would you consider it a compromise? It's not, if you want the Big Chap then buy the Big Chap. If you have patience you can buy it for about the same price - With a bit of luck.

cool! i thought it will be in the end of the year. and now i just have to wait for two months for "dealer's batch" as my seller calls it. and finally play AVP2 again, having a marine, a predator and an alien on the table :)
his head is so much better than A1's, it makes me want to purchase two of them. if the paint was skeletal, i would.

Love the way the figure looks, especially his hands and how he looks when his mouth is closed. Well not too sure about the rubber suit though, not sure about durability.

He less two ribs :/

So he has as much leg articulation as the Batman Returns figure? (i.e sweet F all) For the Warrior that's poor.

Still, it looks nice but I'll pass unless they make more from Aliens - a standalone Ripley and Hicks at least.

Hot Toys has a spotty record for durability, so there are empirically based concerns about the future of this figure. The tendons/membranes around the jaw in particular.

Regarding the articulation or lack thereof -- that's disappointing. Particularly in a design like this one, they could have made cuts in the rubber exo-suit to enable greater ROM in the hips and knees; but didn't bother.

If I was a huge Giger or Aliens fan, I might bite for the sake of a quality albeit neutral replica, but even so I'd think twice. As a casual fan, not so much. But for those of you who are into it, there's no doubt it'll make a striking display piece.

Just watched Figure Junkie's review. Overall it looks fantastic but the rubber jaw area does concern me a little. It also looks like there's sort of a spring mechanism for the mouth. Not sure if that's what the original version had but that could be an issue over time as well.

I meant a 2.0.

I know. But the 1.0 is pretty (in my opinion very) cool and only the paint work is lacking compared to this one (some people are complaining about screen accuracy, but if a 2.0 is closer, who knows?). The Aliens Warrior 1.0 is a completely different story and much older and was in dire need of a remake. So no wonder it was first in line for a remake.

Not gonna cancel my order or anything, but I am a bit disappointed in the paint. Some of the promo shots made it look like there was some more brown mixed in there almost like the figure was mostly black, but with blue and brown highlights visible depending on the lighting. In the review it looks like the revoltech figure (Metallic top to bottom).

So if the final package is already available, I am guessing this is closer to the July side of their estimated 'July-Sept' ETA?
