Lower leg looks different, at least on the outer side of it. Maybe it is a new body sculpt? At least partially? They advertise it as a new one.
Still rubber though... The stretchy mouth tendons are also worrysome. It does indeed look pretty, but I can't justify $200+ on this thing.
And what, this has a repainted Big Chap base? On the positive side, maybe that means Ripley will come with something else.

Interestingly enough, the description states this will be available for purchase at Toy Sapiens on 4/26 (reminds me of how they did the TFA Stormtroopers). So this might already be too far along for them to make any substantial changes.
Hoping Ripley follows soon after -- along with 2.0 Marines.

It looks ok in the shots there, but there are lots of (of course, how could it be otherwise?) inaccuracies and that damn rubber... ugh, I hate it.
We'll be ****ing hammered by the end of it.

Hot Toys finally releasing something new from Aliens completely out of the blue? And putting the pictures up on the 1st of this particular month?

i dunno they may make the colonial marines 2.0. If they make this anythings possible....having said that great and all as it is can't justify spending $200 plus on a piece that is just gonna deteriorate over a short period of time. Waste of money imo.

They've renewed the license through Fox. Ripley and the Alien are a good start.

Just put some of that honda grease stuff on it and he should be good to go. Did that with my ed-209 and he's still holding up.

If they have renewed the license then its good news since they would have access back to a lot of the actor's likeness much like NECA have been doing behind the scenes. If Ripley and the Alien Drone sell well enough I could see them bringing back the Alien line in a more robust fashion.
