I might just have gotten lucky on finding a seller near to me who has a copy of the MK 45 misb after all these years. Was wondering if any MK45 owners have had any degradation issues with the MK45 after all these years or anything I should be aware of?
I would negotiate a GOOD price, seeing how they’ve reissued every single main suit except 45

Is it just me or does the original version's paint/color is more accurate to the movies than the reissue. Like the original has a dark warm yet dull red which fits with the movie look whereas the reissue has a brighter cherry red which isnt quite accurate IMO. I've also noticed hot toys' reissues although they fix and add details to the sculpt etc. the original's paints are more accurate for example the mk 47 whose reissue is also the same cherry red as this new mk 46.

I always liked the 46, with my one critique being that it was a little busy, which is more or less typical of MCU.

Years have passed and the dust is settled now that the MCU has sputtered out (for me). I think the Mark 3 is great but outside of movie magic looks a touch awkward in figure form although the 2.0 is beautifully rendered.

Minor flaws aside, the Mark 46 takes it as my favourite MCU Iron Man armour. It's sleek and technological but retains mechanical elements the magic nanotech suits lack, and in spite of a somewhat narrow waist and brighter paint finish, makes for an absolute brute of an armour in figure form.

I'm surprised its aftermarket prices aren't even higher; I guess the two releases and HT's propensity to re-make older figures -- along with time and newer armours ... have softened the price.

Top 3 in figure form and on film:

  1. Mark 46
  2. Mark 3
  3. Mark 5 (very cool mechanical details)
Only took sixteen years to work that out for myself. :ROFLMAO:
