I can agree that police shouldn’t use the symbol because part of police’s job is to preserve life and deadly force is a last resort. But also the skull represents fear from the criminals. So while police shouldn’t use it, you can kind of see the reasoning behind it.

But what is the reason people are mad about the military using the symbol? Their job is to seek and destroy their enemies. I was in the U.S. Army and from basic training on, they drill into your head that you will kill all enemies that stand before you.

Frankly, no U.S. services should be using it but the military doesn't serve the general public so they get somewhat of a "pass". They have plenty of icons already as part of their units but I would say to them: come up with your own. If I were Marvel....lawsuit!

Yeah, I don't really have a problem with the military using it. It's what they do, and Frank was a Jarhead, so marines I can see really latching on to it. The "outside the chain of command" nature of Punisher is always problematic to a service position, but I can overlook that.

Marvel doesn’t own the right to every single type of skull there is right? What if the military used this skull symbol instead?😆

This new suit is just wayyy too red for me. The bright shade kills it just like Deadpool’s new Disneyfied suit took a dump on the previously achieved cinematic perfection- only to a lesser extent.

I want to like the show and I want to want this figure. Time will tell…

Yeah I prefer the more muted red from the Netflix series.

Can't really say it's straight red when it's more burgundy than anything else. To me the red on the new one is closer to what he should be, plus the suit I see now isn't even bright red it's a darker color red. This is based in the MCU at this point, and so having those colors makes more sense to me. Plus not a thing is grounded in the MCU if you got the Hulk, and Aliens running around.

You say "should be", but I don't believe in translating 1:1 from comics to live action. It doesn't always work.

This Daredevil is a dark character in a story with a dark tone and themes. I want a darker more muted suit, not a bright red one. It clashes.

Things can still be grounded in the MCU, She Hulk and Aliens aren't in this show, so they're irrelevant.

I don't hate this suit, but I prefer the previous suit much much more.

I’m a weirdo I guess, but I really try to only get licensed figures lol
I get that completely, but don't sleep on SooSoo! InArt gets credit for elevating 1/6th, but SooSoo deserves a LOT of credit for producing HT quality at a fraction of the price. The other side of the vise, if you will, for HT.

If he was running around in broad daylight wearing the suit I might agree with you, but he's only playing vigilante at night. The difference in color is barely discernible and IMO it doesn't "clash" with anything (especially Matt's blood lol). And it's hardly bright red - see the latest Deadpool figure for an example of that. Plus this is Daredevil after all, and the devil is associated with actual red outfits, not maroon or burgundy.

Agreed. DD’s costume should be a brighter red. If you’re gonna mute his red costume to a maroon red, might as well just go all in and make it a black costume. At least you can justify it by saying he blends into the shadows like a ninja.

Something tells me that Chrisstbh likes maroon Ferrari’s and Fire Trucks lol
