i understand that it fits the demand of a "Ripley character" in a vacuum though. it's just so sad that they HT doesn't hire a sculptor who understands european faces.
Neca's Ripley'79 at least looks like Ripley'79 (except for the eyes, but with their painting it's not possible to make alive eyes anyway).
_but_ if they change the sculpt from almost fitting Ripley'86 into younger, rounder, softer Ripley'79, and if that's what takes so much time - that would be so wonderful

i wonder how they will deal with Weaver's height, as all their female bodies are small.
though that's what wouldn't bother me at all
i must like Weaver'79 too much to accept that definitely different human representation as Ripley then.It's a better likeness than the nothing I have sitting on my shelf right now. I'll take something over nothing any day. Unless it's that unlicensed atrocity they released and called Ripley many years back.
