Um. They stopped making it just when it was getting to her "fun" parts. And why would someone make something so amazing and lifelike and make her look like she's been crying? Seems an odd choice.

looking at the Ripley from Alien photos, I wonder if we would get some good news about the figure being released... and also about it being improved. <insert another gif here>

I think the jumpsuit Ripley is wearing in the movie is more loose, made of a different texture clothing than the prototype.





It maybe is more like the material Hot Toys used for the First Order Tie pilot jumpsuit (photo on loan by fellow member from Tie pilot thread):
