It's just possible that the reason they took such dark photos is because the rooted hair is still being finalized, and the 'claymation' hair is a placeholder. One can hope.

Es que en el fondo, ME JODE mucho reservar algo que me JODE MUCHO no es lo que yo JODIDAMENTE QUERÍA, jajajaja. Esta Ripley lucirá "in hand" maravillosa, pero esas fotos me repatean. Cada vez la veo más fea, más cara troglodita, y más boca de piraña... Me voy a esperar un poco...

(Mañana ya habré hecho el PREORDER, que me conozco. Soy lo peor)

And like this will be the figure. Im sure about that!just look the warrior photos and compare with the real one...the ahould think that a colourful photo looks nicer than the real fugure abd in that case I think it's too much...you will see...ripley will be...PERFECT

Ripley was never on my HT wish list, but ever since they showed the “rooted hair” version I have had two years ago to contemplate, desire and soon anticipate to the point of commitment. This sculpted hair feels kind of like a “Bait and Switch”. Yes its fine and all but not what I was thinking about for two years.

That can't make something half-assed and then complain cause no one bought it. They need their A-Game on this. They had all this time, some great HS and then they pick this one. I'm not saying it's terrible, but I showed it to my two sons who are massive Alien fans and they had no clue who that was. When I told them, they could easily see it. It's not as bad as WW, but it's not good enough either, as much as I would love to have a Ripley, it just needs to be better than this to get my 230 USD

Come on dude, I showed this to a co-worker that's NEVER seen any Alien film and they knew it was Sigourney Weaver. There's no way a "MASSIVE" Alien fan would be clueless as to who this is. Sorry, but that's total BS man.

Is it normal to have changes on the final product or we will get just what we saw in those days? It will be my first hot toys figure and I don't know if they will change something on the figure or if there is any possibility of any kind of improvement.

How would anyone in here know the answer to that? We've been sitting around for two years clueless as to if we were getting Ripley or not. Until today.
