YES what he said!! That PS is hands down Ripley. Now what HT is giving us reminds me of John Matrix, Ichabod Crane, Bruce Banner......boring soft sculpts.

Agromenauer is that just Sigourney's actual face blended onto the Hot Toys figure or did you take the original Hot Toys pic and adjust it while looking at a pic of the real Sigourney?

Hope I'm making sense there.

If you just transplanted her actual face onto the figure, well, that's not particularly helpful - of course that's going to look better. But if this was your own painstaking adjustments to the HT sculpt to achieve that, well, you nailed it. If the likeness had come out that good I'd have to reconsider my position on only buying the Aliens version.

Hot Toys are hardly going to re-sculpt it again are they so take it or leave it but i'm guessing from the comments that most have ordered .
Moan all you like, it's close enough and your unlikely to see another this accurate for years.

Moan all you like, it's close enough and your unlikely to see another this accurate for years.

No one expects them to resculpt it again but this kind of discussion is inevitable either way.

No one expects them to resculpt it again but this kind of discussion is inevitable either way.

I know mate, I honestly think people should be pleased, plus you get a lot for your money.
Many will order this as i'm sure they have already, including the moaners

If it took them this long to sculpt and get this head approved, I estimate a 0% chance they'll resculpt no matter what great looking PS mods come to light.

Agreed BUT we have the social media tools to make them somewhat aware. Funny how that PS image looks like HT quality and the HT looks like it's from a toy company below.
