I'm going with the majority here in that the sculpts have lost some resemblance to SW with each subsequent tweak but it's going to be the only game in town, so I'm stuck with my pre-order, regardless.

As Mr. Walker said, it's not perfect but it's not as bad as some have said. (Although that Wolowitz pic was hilarious!)

Yeah but maybe she doesn't have full awareness of how good sculpts can be. If she thinks this is as good as its possible to get she'd probably just sign off on it.

And according to Randy Falk at NECA she is concerned about the facial expression her figures get so it's possible she's also just happy they haven't made her look angry like when she's unleashing her fury in the hive in Aliens.

I'll be paying around $315 CAN. Why? Because HT is labeled the best of the best. Not paying that much for a "kinda looks like"!
This figure is falling off my purchase radar.

Yes achilipu. That one is exactely the same.I can not see any differences between this figure and the one showed in the comicon(es la misma!no t ralles!!cambios de luz y postura, nada mas)ojala le hagan pa ralla de los ojos pero sino la hacen, estoy seguro q la veré estupenda igual!)

Mmmm...no estoy seguro. Creo que la última versión es la pintura final, y ha cambiado totalmente la expresión... En esta última la veo con cara de susto más que angustiada por tener un alien delante, coño. Y no se parece en nada...
