There was a rogue post long ago claiming that a new sculpt was in the works, although I have no idea what the source of that claim was or if they were serious or joking.

Ok cool. If they don' fix it I don't see why they should bother to include it. I've seen better cat toys for kids.

A company called Mr. Z just started doing some higher quality 1/6 cats. Maybe there will be something that can be used in the future. So far this is the closest....well the only.

Ripley threw dog tags or a necklace to the floor of the shuttle right before she discovers the Alien. Never saw it in any other scene. Doesn't appear to come with the figure either. Just noticed.

What are the chances HT will make any other members of the Nostromo crew?
I would get the lot probably. Ash especially.

You've been collecting Hot Toys for a long time now, I thought it was clear. Make Iron Man and Star Wars, all other priorities rescinded.

I think it was inevitable that once they secured the Star Wars license it was always going to be the priority.

It will be interesting to see what happens to the Alien/Predator/Terminator licenses over the next few years as to whether another company picks them up...
