Only 1 known solution to the problem. Get on facebook and spam them with 'wheres Ripley?' comments till they get sick of it and release the figure just as they did with Drax

It certainly worked for Drax. They do seem to get a fair amount of "Where's Ripley" on each post, but are professional at pretending it never existed at this stage.

I just now checked eBay; several sellers there have Ripley for preorder,
with shipping dates varying from late June to sometime in September.

Me too, I waited because there was no exclusive but this is ridiculous. I wish we heard SOMETHING from HT.

I preordered day one, so I'm annoyed, but if I was legit pissed about a figure taking longer than expected to be released, I'd have to seriously reevaluate my priorities in life.

I know and I'm guilty of worrying about release dates myself but your right when you put it in perspective and realise they're just painted pieces of plastic it kinda puts it all in perspective..

Yeah man, it does suck to have money tied up in preorders that go way past their expected release date but that comes with the territory in this hobby unfortunately. If someone isn't prepared for that possibility, it can strain the finances, which can impact the big picture things such as bills and whatnot. Then you just have to cut your loses and cancel I suppose. I hope to never be in that situation but I'm sure it happens all the time.
