as i understood that text (whoever made that thing up), an unborn thing was male but changed into female.
i don't know what the hell the author of that part smoked.maybe they just wrote whatever they wanted, knowing that nobody would be able to read that.

Believe it or not I'm walking on air, I never thought I could feel so free. Flying away on a wing and a prayer, who could it be? Believe it or not it's just me.

Who knew so much was going on in a film I though was about a monster eating people in a ship way back then.....

Now it's about transgender crew, being chased down and ***** by a adolescent mayfly with daddy issues....

Damn who knew? Gonna have to watch this again with me innuendo laced mind sharp!

yeah but was he the one that wrote that text?
i know Cameron likes to do every part of the movie (and probably would like to avoid hiring actors and play every role himself), but was he the author of that text?

I did mention this video game bit before, and I'm glad you brought it up because this Isolation bit actually does help my point -- incorrect Lambert in clothes made bloody after **** in video game made for young boys.

Even this apparently has a disclaimer in the game by the makers that states its an "alternate" take -- meaning a different way to look at the scene from the movie. All it proves is that a lot of young boys liked the idea of **** by alien and it took hold.

I find it kind of amusing that you're ****ing on Alien Isolation as apparently being puerile fluff for adolescents, when it's in fact a more mature, faithful, lovingly-crafted update to the franchise than anything that's been released cinematically in at least two decades, least of all from Scott himself. The volume and depth of research Creative Assembly delved into in an attempt to create verisimilitude with the 1979 film is nothing short of heroic, plus they hired a decent writer in the form of Dan Abnett to flesh out the story.

Also considering it carries a full "18" certificate here in the UK, I'm going to assume they were pitching to serious fans of the original movie and not "young boys" as you seem to believe.

Alien Isolation was such a good game... Really put new breath into the franchise.

The spin-off materials have generally been much better than any of the movie-based efforts to follow Alien and Aliens, in my opinion. Dark Horse did the Alien Vs Predator concept better than the films, and they explored the Space Jockey in a more interesting manner than Prometheus. Labyrinth and Stronghold especially stand out as comic series that would make excellent Alien movies. Aliens Vs Predator 1 and 2, Alien Trilogy, the Alien Resurrection game on PS1, the Capcom AvP arcade game, Isolation, etc were all solid. There's even been some surprisingly good books written based on the series.

The only genuine stinker that comes to mind is the Colonial Marines game.

Yeah, I give the developers full marks for the design and research. It's genuinely impressive, and, at its best, very immersive. But it disappointed me that the alien, likely due to necessary game dynamics, is more Alien: Resurrection than Alien: it stomps, screeches, jumps, leaps, etc. with all the finesse of a Jurassic Park Raptor.

I wish some enterprising fan would mod the game to scale back the alien to its 1979 roots. Yes, that would impact game play, etc., but I'd love to play that game.

HELLO? I have added new pictures of Ripley figure and you still talking about a game? Ha ha ha ha.

By the way: Alien Isolation is the best Alien spin off movie. I love it.
