I liked that blu ray boxset of Alien & Aliens Fox did tho, that came with a load of free mug coasters showing unused artwork from the proposed, but sadly unmade, sequels.

Ripley is pretty much the last of the “official” nostalgic sci-fi offerings aside from OT Star Wars. I don’t see anything else in their que. It also contains four good pieces of hardware as accessories (diorama stand, leaf blower, shopping basket & propane gun) all very well detailed. Not sure if it ca officially be called a rarity in todays HT’s offerings!!

In 1989 there were:

1. No bad ALIEN sequels/prequels
2. No SW prequels
3. No good Terminators
4. No KOTCS
5. No bad Predator sequels
6. No bad RoboCop sequels/remakes

That's a new one on me, literally never heard that view. Alien & Aliens are two different genres of films, which is a) why it works, and b) why there are only two Alien movies, and they're both excellent. Can't think I've ever heard "Cameron ruined it" criticisms, largely because he did offer a different take on it, which largely sidesteps comparisons.

But it's been a while since they've done an Arnie figure and he's pretty popular across the world. Might as well have it be Dutch, put out a P1 2.0 alongside, and offer a two-pack with an exclusive base for the two to share. Fairly certain that'd be a big seller.

Y'know, if they still felt like putting effort into these licenses.

Agreed about Alien 3. I've always thought it was underrated, but compared to everything that came after it now seems like a freakin work of art.

I was meaning what currently exists in Hot Toys preorder scheduled lineup. After Ripley there is nothing.

as i understood that text (whoever made that thing up), an unborn thing was male but changed into female.
i don't know what the hell the author of that part smoked.maybe they just wrote whatever they wanted, knowing that nobody would be able to read that.
