Great pictures. She looks great and belongs there. I have Dallas and Kane as well. I was hoping Dean Knight would compare her height with them, guess he doesn't own them. Don't care how she looks next to comic book figures.

He disappeared shortly after making that too. He was supposed to make an elaborate tutorial.

I still have all his photos during the process.
I actually got a little pissed off at Tinister- As he worked on the project, he said he had made molds of all of his custom parts and would be selling castings to others who wanted to make a similar customization- including the head sculpt. After the project was finished, I politely inquired about buying the parts from him, and he got really arrogant and condescending towards me just for asking- as if my request was an outrageous inconvenience to him. I admire his talents, but he can shove his Kane where no one can hear you scream.

I have to watch DKnight's review. I want a Ripley figure and my first thought was this isn't the Ripley I was expecting. Hot Toys is letting me down on the Alien franchise. But after Alien Covenant you can say the same for the director as well...

After watching his unboxing and true-light videos I decided to put in an order for this.. though I do have a nagging feeling that this is a figure which will end up being discounted at some point (It's still available to order at a few UK suppliers which is quite unusual by the time a figure is actually released in HK).

Today is Global "face hug" your favorite 1/6 figure Friday! Take a look next to you, and give that figure a big "hug!" Lol.

I just finished watching his long review, and I can say it looks great. I can't wait till I get mine, hopefully by mid-october for us in the USA. He really does great reviews.

Oh and yeah I totally agree how the director is letting me down on the franchise as well :D

Oh yes. That was unbelievable. Cloth suit and extremely well done, custom head sculpt.

Hot Toys have released numerous products over the last few years that suggest they could make these suits in cloth nowadays, starting with the MGS3 Snake and Boss figures and their sneaking suits. Sadly they'd rather invest that effort in more Nu-Star Wars and Suicide Squad figures...

His hands are too big. And the hair looks too real.

:)

This is the first time the cat's horrific expression has looked right tho. It's all about context.

Given the ED-209 example I wouldn't be surprised if they did them no differently now regardless of what they've done on other figures. Though like you I would be surprised if they actually revisited the Alien Spacesuit at all.

Bare witness to the first gold xenomorph. Lol.

Though the Snake figure had next to no articulation because of that suit, I agree with you that HT has the capacity to do these suits more justice if they chose to. If only we can convince Marvel to reuse these suits in the next Iron Man film. . .
