I actually got a little pissed off at Tinister- As he worked on the project, he said he had made molds of all of his custom parts and would be selling castings to others who wanted to make a similar customization- including the head sculpt. After the project was finished, I politely inquired about buying the parts from him, and he got really arrogant and condescending towards me just for asking- as if my request was an outrageous inconvenience to him. I admire his talents, but he can shove his Kane where no one can hear you scream.

Yeah, unfortunately I do remember him offering it up as he went along, and then he suddenly disappeared. I can only imagine that he didn't want to bother making more after he had his. I've experienced this with a couple members still here to this day, making promises only to back out once their 'high' cooled off. You do tend to remember that stuff.

Today is Global "face hug" your favorite 1/6 figure Friday! Take a look next to you, and give that figure a big "hug!" Lol.

Okay - this is great! As has been said already, Jonesy's expression is perfect there! :rotfl

Ok really glad now I watched DeanKnights full review. I was close to buying a Big Chap since I was feeling like I could live with the various inaccuracies and the open mouth... but seeing how much the paint has faded on the rubber body over the years changed my mind. Think now I'll just have to hope along with everyone else that they release a 2.0.

Is his figure faded? I didn't notice that. Strange, mine looks exactly the way it did out of the box since I got it. Where does he live? Humidity or does he have to have the air/heat on in the house lot?

Well maybe not faded exactly, but the rubber body and paint job certainly didn't look as nice as they do on the new Alien Warrior.

Nice display, Shells.

I'll be displaying Ripley with the Big Chap. Will keep Kane and Dallas on their own shelf.

Thanks

Yeah I would display Ripley with Big Chap if I had one. I always think more then 2 figs per shelf looks cluttered. Unfortunately I am really pushed for space, so two figs per shelf is only a dream for me.

Just finished watching Alien for the first time in a couple of years (decided to go with the Theatrical Cut so might be even longer for that) - I think I might have contacted OCD from this thread as I noticed a couple of new things
- Ripley ties her hair back before she even picks up the cat box for the first time, tho it does very suddenly appear to come untied between her failed attempt to shut off the auto destruct and going to the shuttle
- in the same sequence a chain is very visible round her neck, which she takes off just before she discovers the Alien in the shuttle, looks like dogtags - is this included with the figure?
