Both the Harley & the Joker shots mostly just look like he's taken photos of people. Ridiculously good.

Oh yes. That was unbelievable. Cloth suit and extremely well done, custom head sculpt.

Amazing work in that link. I scrolled down for an hour, it seemed, looking at the fantastic custom works of art.

The Ripley looks good, just needs futzing. The Margot as a-dev stated, it's spooky real.

Is it weird I'm most impressed by the 1/12 SHF Harley Quinn he put real hair on? That's amazing work at such a small size and pretty much 100% guaranteed something you'll never see in mass production at that scale.

Another good review. Cat seems to look better with each new review. Wish someone would open up the EXTRA snaps just to see if they are actually the corresponding pieces that should be on the opposite side of the shirt. Those are sorely missing, a real stand out in my opinion. The girdle piece on the small of the back should have been more of a seamless more incorporated part of the jumpsuit. As it is, the girdle appears just tacked on, almost an afterthought. Otherwise, a good figure. Great to see she's getting numerous good video reviews, and she's not even released in the states yet.

Doesn't look so bad there, but lighting is a huge factor with this one for whatever reason. For the most part in the video it looks alright, no where near amazing, but I guess acceptable. But the thumbnail for the video, along with many photos posted by reviewers in here look extremely odd in most shots.

Yeah it's definitely not one of their best or most exciting figures, but if you're a huge fan of the movie and want a Ripley on your shelf, it still looks well worth getting I think.

She's john Matrix level, which is a shame. It deserved better than this.

But, I won't write this one off like I did with the first in hand photos and I'll get it at some point. Discounted if I can help it.

"john Matrix level" thats something I don't want to hear!!

It's going to be the term I use for any situation like this.

Matrix'd

Definition: Any time Hot Toys puts out an extremely lazy sculpt with a lazy paint app to compliment it.

John Matrix had a pretty decent looking prototype though. That was arguably a bigger disappointment.

The prototype was extraordinary due to the paint. Maybe we would of gotten something better if they at least kept it the same sculpt but they definitely gave us something different.

No chance for which? :lol

I think the top three most generic HT figure likeness are Ichobod Crane, Bruce Banner & John Matrix. I’ve see all three in person. I really hope I don’t feel the same “generic" way when I have my Ripley in hand.
