Anyone have a guess as to why Hulk has "separate rolling eyeballs" instead of PERS?

I guess I don't care about the lack of accessories and the price as long as the body and arms will hold up for a long time. Only thing I care about.

Which is also my biggest concern over the choice they went with. Time will tell us....

They like that pose obviously. Maybe it's an inside joke.

My only issue with Hulk (without micro nitpicking, which I don't care to do) is the durability of those arms over several years. I don't want to feel like purchasing it is a gamble, but I do.

Its the first HT Hulk... I'm taking the gamble.

I loved the way the Hulk looked in the movie, why is it every time I look at this I can't decide if I like it or not?

Maybe because deep down, you know you want to buy it and may regret it later if you don't.

Exactly my point. You are not going to see a return of Shrek Hulk or the Norton Incredible Hulk versions in any of the future installments that involve the character. Those designs are dead and abandonned. And I highly doubt HT will look at making either version when they have so much milking to do with this beloved version.

Id guess if they use Grey or Red in the movies thats a for sure release for HT right there. If not, then we could see a SDCC '13 or SDCC '14 exclusive "Grey" or "Red" Hulk in the future. Im sure they will exploit it. Theyll want to use this body as much as possible to get their moneys worth out of it.

I'm in for a Red Hulk exclusive!

A bit of me thinks that we will get this "Bare Bones" release and maybe a year later they will do a Bruce Banner/Hulk two pack with diorama base and possibly an extra Roaring Head (or possibly JUST a roaring head) and price it higher. Then you give those that wanted a Banner and give some that already have this version a bit of incentive to double dip.

Wouldnt really surprise me any if HT did this.

Hell then give it full PERS and slap a "DX" logo on the box and call it a day.

You mean something like Iron Man's Gantry currently on sale?! Oh hell yeah, I'd be ALL OVER a Hulk/Banner combo!!!

I know this is suppose to have articulation, but the seams are bad. That is the biggest issue for these figures. Gotta have clothes otherwise it doesn't work. I guess it's Black Widow for me....

Pre-ordered mine from bbts for 274.99, good price concidering its about the same price as ht 89 joker!!! which I never got do to that price point and rightly so concidering I'm getting the freaking 17" tall hulk for the same price!

I've been hoarding Sideshow Rewards Points for awhile and was planning on dumping them all on the '89 Batmobile, but I have been thinking more about passing on that. Maybe I'll just get me a free Hulk instead.

I don't think 'separate rolling eyeballs' implies that they can be moved. I think it's just stating how they've been manufactured, ie separate from the head sculpt mold like Jake Sully's eyeballs.

So, can anyone find out what the MO is with the arms? PVC, rubber, or w/e they are? Maybe I missed it if someone confirmed what they are, but I'd be over the moon if they are something other than rubber.

Of course they are rubber. What else? Gonna crack and fall apart in a few years....
