Also the spikes along the edge of the neck covering are not present in the film, I think those need to go. Also I think Joseph needs to make a custom hand for this guy, made specifically for holding his decorative helmet....those things and he will be perfect!!!

skulls look like the ones he had in the movie, so they are actually accurate and look good to me...and I think those are some type of monkey skulls...not kids.

I also think we need a cool exclusive item with this guy, be it a weapon or a trophy....something needs to be included to set him apart and make him more collectable

I dunno. I think the fact that he has a big red cape, ornate bio mask and lots of quills on his head sets him apart from the other Predaors pretty well. As for making him more collectible, I'm not sure I understand what you mean. Are you talking about including something with him that might persuade collectors to purchase him who would otherwise pass on the figure? If so they could sell him in a 2-pack with a Wolf 2.0 figure. They could make it so the 2 pack was the only way to get Wolf 2.0 like the upcoming Batman Returns Batman / Bruce Wayne set and the recent BD RoboCop / Alex Murphy set. Pretty sure that would move some units. :lol

Joking aside, I don't think this figure is going to be all that popular. Sure some will buy it (like me), but if Elder 2.0 from P2 is still readily available at really low prices this long after release, what chance does this guy have?

I suspect Joseph will give us an amazing figure and will listen to our feedback, I'm sure he reads these threads. I know he is going to keep the line going and will give us our Wolf 2.0 too. I will keep my faith in hot toys continuing the line and also in Tsang, I absolutely love his work.

ADI, hating aliens and predators since 1992.

Eh, the Dog Alien was cool. Only because Giger contributed to the design. Everything that came after was a completely different style.

the doggy alien is the only xeno left in my collection. heck, i got 2 of them.
the only one who can go on all fours, crouch, and lunge poses.
the only thing holding this figure back is the rubber suit.
modge podge to the rescue.

i'd reconsider buying another xeno if its from resurrection. love the chicken legs.lolz

Giger draw a very different creature. only its silhouette actually remained in the movie.

ADI was responsible for ugly guts, bubbles and everything else (widely included in Alien 3), turning aliens into some toxic dump monsters ever since.

those are two different creatures from two different universes. the second creature must be from "the thing" franchise. and everything that came later started with those guts & rotten bubbles in A3. so yes, ADI, hating aliens and predators since 1992.

ADI also stripped the creature of its purely biomechanical texture. Giger’s original Alien was man-shaped but replete with metallic joints and muscles in a strange and frightening alchemy of teeth, claws and steel. ADI’s Alien is a sepia-toned mesh of bone and flesh. Though ADI’s original mold of the suit retained some biomechanic textures, most if not all of this detail was lost because of the film’s ruddy, muddy lighting.
and the best part:
Elsewhere, Woodruff explained to Cinefex magazine: “We tried to give it an organic, sculptural feel and remain truer to his [Giger’s] concepts than even he had been. Some of the things he had done in the first film were completely serendipitous.”
aka "we know better" :D

i myself believe that ADI just re-used their Pumpkinhead experience, making no difference between creatures. they are all just monsters for those dumbasses.

While Winston refined the narrative, artists at his studio — led by Alec Gillis, Shane Mahan, John Rosengrant & Tom Woodruff Jr. — designed Pumpkinhead
you remember those names, right.

I just let a co-worker borrow "Pumpkinhead". Great little movie. I remember I was jumping for joy when Mcfarlane announced him to the Movie Maniac line up!!
