I'd love to dee HT do a guardian 2.0.

what do you mean by guardian 2.0?
the "guardian" was a mix of several predators with random color:
- Gort helmet
- Ram armor (P2 armor in steel instead of copper color)
- P2 breather (almost identical to movie version, unlike some random thing that came with tsang's P2)
- blue body with brown legs (slightly resembling Ram by upper half color)
- P1 feet (with sandals).
why would you need it 2.0 instead of every mentioned predator separately?

This has been going on for years . He pops online and hates all day long. It's best to enjoy like I do. I can care less about all of the stupid little things. If it looks cool and is made well I'm super happy. And yes the elder looks bad ass

I just have to say it, the figure looks way. way better than the actual character does on film. I just watched the film and was amazed how bad he looked. Hot toys has done a great job of capturing his features but making him look much more bad ass. I will for certain make this a day one purchase!

I second this! The Hot Toys figure looks BETTER than the actual costume used in the movie. I can't wait for this guy. Hope it goes up for PO soon and hope Chopper 2.0 follows soon after so we can complete all the AvP preds.

And I see why he is so liked lol, but I agree with you about the Elder, he does look completely bad ass!

I'm in no way defending P, HOWEVER, as collectors we should be allowed to voice our opinions. And P does have a very good eye for detail.
I used to think he just came on here to complain but then I noticed he owned each figure he was being critical of. If you spend your money on a figure you have the right to come on message boards/forums and state your likes and dislikes about the figures. You after all are the consumer and the reason the toy company is in business. Yes he can come off a bit gruff, but his posts don't bother me.

Yep, I'm on P's side. I've owned many HT Preds over the years and as much as I've enjoyed them I agree with P that the attention to detail is lacking and I think Tsang has taken this line as far as he can. It's time for a different artist to take control.

I agree with that statement 100%. Bring in some new blood and maybe I'll buy more preds

I'm not mad at P. Just annoyed it seems like every single predator thread that I read, at some point he chimes in about something and it's usually to knock the line. I don't hate, dislike, or have a problem with P. or with him expressing his opinion...damn right, he has that right, but it wouldn't hurt to see him say something nice once in a while to show the love ya know.

It is hard to enjoy the thread when 5 guys are just hating non stop on the thread. The 1/4 alien thread is ruined with hate. I can't even post I can't wait without it being followed by all things they want it to look like. My problem is a fun post is being hidden in between a bunch of negative posts. But I've been on this site for years so I'm use to it

Yes, it's one thing to point out something wrong with the figure, but to constantly post about how crappy the figure is in a thread gets really old, really fast. Chime in with your opinion, then leave it alone. With that said, this V.2 elder looks way cooler than V.1 and I can't wait to get it. Now bring on Chopper and Wolf!

Yeah he really messed up on Berserker's face and overall head size. Again, I owned the figure and enjoyed it but after two years it was easy to part with and sell.

I've read several posts saying that Tsangs AVP Preds look better than what they did in the movie. Again this just proves the point that he can't/won't sculpt a Pred accurate to how the original costume looked.

The problem is people seem to be happy with him doing this on Preds from Predators and AVP because the designs aren't as loved as the originals. If he sculpts a P1 2.0 in the future and it has Tsangs artistic look all over it people will be less forgiving (the same applies for Wolf). Again, I hated on his City Hunter 2.0, with mods it looks better but un-modded it was such a horrible figure (for the record I did buy and own the figure so I have every right to have an opinion on it).

berzerker's face, body disproportions, they even BS about its height size(only reason why i didn't cancel my PO, believing it would tower over the other preds). pos did not sit well with the rest.
a week on display. back in box and out the door.

he uses that classic pred as base to some of the succeeding preds, slacker.lolz

his AVP ones look nice all geared up with masks on though. cant be bothered posing them unmasked.
