Saw it for a second time this afternoon. It's even better the second time around. Really can't wait for this figure. I haven't noticed but I really hope he comes with his watch.

Agreed. I see people going back and forth but for me, this is easily one of the top films in the MCU at least in terms of origin films.

No. Just no. lol I had relatives say the same. I got more of a Thor Dark World vibe than Civil War.

Had more of a 1st Iron Man vibe to me (personality, humor, etc) but it is very much in its own corner of the MCU. Looking forward to seeing him interact with the rest of the Avengers.

Funniest thing in the film is at the beginning when they're all running down the street. Then Tripitaka rolls them up in a building.

Haven't found the patience to watch it without the fast forward button.

There is no right answer for how good the film is you know. Some people like it better than CW and others don't, in the end it is just people's own opinions.

Absolutely agree. There are people that didn't like Civil War that much so i dunno why it's so shocking when some say they rank Doctor Strange higher. Both movies have their flaws it's just a matter of taste and which flaws the individual is willing to ignore. While I probably wouldn't rank Strange higher than Civil War, I personally have no idea why so many people are so head over heels for the latter. It's good but nowhere near my top 3 and others feel this way about Strange. It's all just a matter of taste.

This is the only Marvel movie I wanted to go back and watch again the next day. Loved it. I'm biased because I've loved the character since I was a kid. Like every kid I'm sure, I was into Spider-man which led me to his earlier stories which led me to Steve Ditko which led me to Dr. Strange (The Kevin Bacon effect). Of course you had to be into comic books which more were back then; really glad I didn't have the internet. Looking forward to this figure. The sculpt on the head is "off" here and there but overall very happy, also like the magnetic finger tip magic disc thing.

At this point I'm finding it difficult to rank these films but Strange is easily in the top third of the MCU for me. I also read a lot of Doctor Strange and The Defenders when I was a kid. He was pretty popular in the 70's and early 80's so I was really looking forward to the movie as well. The figure looks great and I love all the accessories. Can't wait to pose him with Hulk! Now I'll just have to cross my fingers that one day we'll get Sub-Mariner and Silver Surfer

I was saying to my wife the other day that Dr. Strange shows that a moody, somewhat distant, powerful guardian character works as a Marvel movie. Trade in magic for the power cosmic and you have a Silver Surfer movie! Would like to see that one day.

Who said there was wrong and right? I think that's just in your head.

We're all simply voicing our opinions. Don't think anyone said someone is right/wrong about theirs.

Not to mention, there are objective qualities of movies that give itself it's own merit.

It's like comparing Netflix Daredevil and Affleck Daredevil. I'm pretty sure you don't need anyone's opinion to know which one is better.

Considering the costuming of this character I'm hoping for some great, unrestricted posing opportunities. For me, the translation from the comic book was well executed.

Yup I agree. One of the best things about MCU is the costume design.

I finally saw the movie today. I loved it, so now I'm really tempted to get the figure. :lol I wish they'd make one of Tilda, though.
