Just found it - but now there's speculation the whole interview is an April Fool's hoax (it's April 1 already here in Asia-Pacific).

The good news is, toy fairs exclusives aren't normally announced till July!

Can't answer the first question, though I hope HT realizes many (if not most) potential customers will want these as a set.

Toy fairs exclusives are usually revealed a few weeks before SDCC (July) and offered online by Sideshow, so you don't actually have to attend. Previously they've done some minor/less marketable characters, so hopefully this augurs well for the Ranger.

But I'm hoping we hear something when Tonto ships next month - that timing would generate more buzz and avoid preorder cancellations.

Ranger may not be getting released at all. I'm having that feeling since most of the interviews a lot of the other figures they said they are making keep being unknown or like Smooth Criminal MJ Cancelled.

Did the TRON figures reach the prototype stage? Our only hope is that the Ranger was far enough along in development that it might still be worth their while releasing.

We got TRON Legacy figures: Sam Flynn on Lightcycle (no articulation aside from the head/neck and shoulders and wrists) and a Kevin Flynn w/ 2 full sets of clothing. We didn't get anything else though due to all the production delays that the lightcycle went under.

Thanks I really hope we're getting a Lone Ranger. I read somewhere that Disney didn't approve the head sculpt. Can anyone confirm this? Now is the time, Hot Toys, to tell us there's a Lone Ranger coming. Please.
