That was the original release time but it was released early. Maybe they should have stuck with that date as we might not get this until then.

Thanks for the input - I wonder if this was the HT distribution plan all along. Some good shots of this may have swayed preorders and pre-sales before they deliver Iron Spidey and take the focus off of this.

I went on the waitlist for the Deluxe version and it just converted.

Now I’m not even sure I want it since dynamic poses will destroy it.

out of curiosity, what dynamic poses will destroy it? I've been keeping min in dynamic poses, and also moving him around a lot for photos and he seems fine the suit shrinks back up in about 2 minutes or so.

My understanding was that the suit will to back to normal after a few days???

Really? I remember seeing a lot of pics of pinched suits by the joints, teared fabric and misshapen stretched suits here and on Facebook.

I thought there was a lot of concern and talk about having to keep him in a museum pose because displaying him in a dynamic pose will cause irreparable damage.

thankfully I haven't had any irreparable damage yet, but time will tell

If you stretch the suit it becomes bunched up once you return it to a default position. This returns to normal.

The suit can get mangled in the joints if it gets caught in them. This obviously does not return to normal. This can be remedied by pinching the fabric with your fingers before extending the joint all the way.

Not getting this figure because you think you can't do dynamic poses is a waste. It's an awesome figure.

I'm in the same position. I've got one PO'd at BBTS, but seeing how fragile the suit is frustrating. This stuff makes handling these figures feel like diffusing a bomb instead of being fun.

I doubt I'll cancel my order. I'll probably just make this my last Marvel Hot Toy. I think I'll just let SH Figuarts take care of my MCU Marvel needs from now on.

Really. Look there’s gonna be some people who have issues with every single release. Does that mean it happens to the vast majority of people, no. Go to any thread on any fabric suit figure and people will be complaining about how fragile it is. How it just falls about when you do two poses for two seconds. Those people get the most attention. Then you have ten other people who don’t have the figure complaining about how fragile it is, re enforcing that fragile idea for other people, making it seem like it’s evwn worse. Then you have some people who share other people’s story’s about issues further making it seem like it’s an issue. So you got dozens of people talking about the fragility of the suit when only two of them have it and have issues. Meanwhile five hundred other people share photos where it is fine.

So yes, a couple people have had issues. Does that mean it’s a major issue? Nope.

It’s like the rubber arm issue. Lots of people saying it’s an issue. But go find an actual photo of it being an actual issue. You may find one or two. But look for normal photos of the figures and there’s thousands.

All good points. Thanks.
