Is it just me or does the shape of the open eyes seem to be a slightly different shape from the promo pics? They seem more ovalesque..or is this just me.

There are two sets of open eyes that are very similar, one that is just slightly smaller. Both seem pretty accurate based on what was shown in the promotional photos. The default out of the box eyes are the slightly smaller ones. I prefer Spiderman with bigger eyes so swapped them out.

How do you like it?

It IS an amazing figure! The articulation and suit details are fabulous! It somewhat reminds me of the first Spider-Man (2002-07). The only other SM I have is the Black suit SM3 and am stoked to have gotten this ASM 2 one, but my anticipation is high for the HC Spidey too.

Still waiting on SS though mine was a waitlist conversion. Also waiting on Timewalker who are waiting on SS as well.
