Hi guys,

I'm living in Japan for some years now and I'm always buying to Toy Sapiens, which is the official local reseller here.
According to their website, they have the TFA Chewbacca in stock.

However Han is still in pre-order.
I only pre-ordered Han so can't tell if Chewie is already shipped to buyers.
I guess that Han is on the way to be released soon too

Sorry to burst your bubble, but I'm pretty sure this is not out yet. Hot Toys always announces releases on Facebook, and also from what I see on the Toy Sapiens page the release date is listed as 01 May 2017. "In stock" probably just means the preorder is available.

I'm also doubtful about this information since they are always releasing pictures on Facebook before releasing a figure.
However, Toy Sapiens are pretty accurate concerning the status of each figure.

予約受付中→　Pre-order opened, not in-stock
予約終了→Pre-order no more available, kind of waitlist, figure not in stock
販売終了→No more stock

So according to their status, they have the figure in-stock.
I'll drop them an e-mail today to confirm if it's true or if it is an error on their side.

I am really debating. I have the Han/Chewie set from A New Hope but I'm still not sure about whether I should get the Force Awakens set or just Solo. Thoughts?

Personally I'm just getting Han and waiting for a better Chewie, whether it's a Last Jedi, ESB, or ROTJ version. They are still a long way away from getting the face proportions down right. I do like the look of the fur on this version more than the ANH release though.

Just Han for me too at this point. I wouldn't mind getting Chewie but I already have the first release and its likely we'll get another older version in the future so I don't feel as pressed to get him.

Amazing how such a small team can produce such high quality figures. I guess it is also why they must be very busy with the figures from R1, and potentially Ep8. I wonder how early they would receive Ep8 pictures. I assume once filming is wrapped. Lucasfilm signs off on the designs so they do have contact with them.

Initially I was planning to just get old han but changed my mind. It's probably the last chance to get this iconic duo in the same box for at least a decade or so. Two pack it is.

The wait for Han has been excruciating. I have him on order at BBTS since I missed getting an order in on SS before it went on waitlist. I am tempted by Chewie, but not sure I NEED another one of him at this point. I keep thinking Poe might be announced any day now. Sigh.

So this must be coming out soon. Those "thank you"'s to the creation team have typically been posted after a figure release if I'm not correct.
