That's a great mod. What an improvement. It's just sad we the paying customer have to do this after spending stupid money on these figures. It's an absolute insult!!

eBay prices are fair for Han, but would rather order from a retailer in the US than eBay.

I originally had the two pack on preorder for a one time payment. I was able to switch it to two payments ending in may before taking delivery to extend time and hold out hope that a single Han Solo becomes available off waitlist. I just was charged 225 today. The second payment is what I dread as that's the chew payment.

I got my set from Sideshow the other day and I don't think Chewy looks nearly as bad in person as the pictures show. The Han sculpt is amazing.

I saw Chewie at my local Collectable store he was beside ANH Chewie and to be honest he looked fine!!! My first impression seeing it for the first time was "Oh Nice" as opposed to "WTF" which was spoken the first time I saw ANH Luke!!

From my previous post:

" What I did was I heated up the mouth area with a hair dryer, then using a small knife tool I dug into the area where the upper lip meets the fur and peeled down the upper lip/mouth plate. Then using the knife I scraped down the fur, sorta tucking it in and flattening it out, cutting away a very small amount of fur to make sure the area was flattened out as much as possible. Finally, I reheated the mouth and pulled the upper mouth plate back up to line it up with the fur (also had to realign the bottom jaw piece). The rest is just futzing to try to make the hair look as accurate as I could."

What do you mean by peeling down the upper lip plate?

The mouth is a separate piece from the head. Basically where the upper lip meets the fur under the nose. When you heat it up enough it should become pliable enough to basically peel the upper lip downward so you can work on the hair.

There are other methods for some of the great mods on here that did it differently.
