Heath Ledger Joker is the most singularly amusing property in drawing out so much debate, venom and elitism in this hobby for the last 15 years.

Looks like we are going to get back into early 2010’s level shitshow once dx33 gets fully out in the wild. It’s laughable how the DC board fires up and turns into such a circus with a few sought after releases.

Inart and Hot Toys releasing versions so close together has amplified this to legendary lunacy levels. The offerings are starting to get closer to the customs far more than before, which is getting the customs crowd uneasy. Just going to have to spend $5k+ on sculpts to size queen over the plebes. Customizers are licking their chops for all that excess they’ll enjoy charging.

I’m starting to miss all the Marvel crap burying DC down to tamer levels. Hope the mods are stocked full of bourbon and smoke for the holidays.

My commentary is not so much on this discussion per se. But there is a more relevant Joker customs thread where this type of discussion lends more to folks in the hyper accurate space for this figure.

Pages of what green and purple on a mass produced figure board thread is not going to move the needle of what is done on mass produced figures. If you want hex code #90EE90 for your vest great, go source it and be happy.

Again not calling out anyone, it’s just amusing how this property brings the heat.

They're like "oh you guys can have a flesh tone body and ungloved hands when you buy our $450 prison scene joker, you suckers" and it's not like you couldn't see heaths wrist/arm while he was wearing the coat anyway. The mob scene his coat was coming down when he was holding the grenade string anyway. I liked how that looked.
