1/6 1/6 Hot Toys - MMS - Star Wars: ROTJ - Boba Fett

here we go.

Overall, I find the Boba Fett on the left to be closer to the real thing than the stock Hot Toys Fett (right).



I am not a Boba Fett expert, I am missing things such as details on the helmet, clours, etc. but I am going for the overall movie-like feel of the figure.

Here's my review of the HT Boba Fett. I dunno, maybe I've been spoiled with so many other great figures, but I wasnt as wowed with this figure as I thought I'd be. I think the Sideshow figure still holds up pretty well in comparison. Still, a nice paint app and underlying body are nice.

My Boba has landed in the country. Still have to wait for it to clear customs though. One of the longest waits I've had for a figure.

yes, helmet is SSC. Everything else is the same.

I like the extra flare and the range finder seems extra long on the HT one.

My Boba is here! A really amazing figure. My first Boba Fett from any toy manufacturers and I'm loving it!!!

Btw about Fett's sleeves I saw some of you have the loose one and mine appears to be the tight one, which one is more prefferred?

Is there a list of all mods for this or a specific thread for modding HT Boba? All I could find was the Medi RAH ESB Boba thread.

The Sideshow helmet is the ESB paintjob which is completely different to the ROTJ version.
You never see Fett wearing the ESB helmet in ROTJ so it's not accurate if you're going for the ROTJ look. The only time you see him with the ESB helmet on the ROTJ suit is in the Star Wars: A New Hope Special Edition where Han see Jabba in Docking Bay 94.

I mean, the accuraccy I was talking about is the body and head proportions and shape of the helmet.

The pic with the SSC helmet on the ROTJ body is also a pretty distorted and color-altered pic.

Not to mention that boba was superimposed into that scene. He wasn't originally filmed there. And let's not forget that is the movie where Greedo shoots first!!!

Mine arrived today from Australia PopCultcha. All I did so far is stuff some cotton inside the leg pouches.



One thing. HT viewfinder swing arm is sure is too tall.

Got Boba today. Awesome figure! But the chest armour is bothering me.

Crooked middle piece and I don't know about the rest of you guys but is the armor flush with the body? Feels like mine is sticking out a bit, not quite flush at the corners of the armor.



Sent a mail to my local shop, hoping they can replace the vest.

Yeah it should be very easy to center it in the factory.
