Paint was the biggest issue for me with the SS. I had it briefly--the prices had dropped enough to check it out when the HT figure was announced but I sold it off after a few weeks as this one looked like it would trump it.

ROTJ's didn't flare out as much, or so someone said in here earlier. Is that true?

Anyway, all mute because HT is doing an ESB Fett... probably at SDCC that's why the rush to get this one in our hands over the next two months before the show.

You know we will buy both. lol We are the little pups on the HT teets.

Yeah, the ESB helmet had some kind of production error that caused it to flare out wide at the sides, whereas the hero ROTJ is the way it was "supposed" to be - more straight up and down.

I'm having HT withdrawals and wish this, Leia, or Ant-Man would hit the streets...heck I'd even settle for production pics of the Hulkbuster! I'm SO CLOSE to pulling the trigger on something...maybe a Spacetrooper...just to have something in the process of being shipped!

I felt the same way, so I ordered the Probe Droid [emoji4]

Looking at the comparison photos here the Sideshow Fett looked good, especially the bucket; but when you see them in hand there's no contest, the Sideshow just comes across as a bit under-painted and bland; everything about it is 'soft'.

I saw the SSC Fett at a LCS and was pretty impressed with the helmet weathering apps, though obviously the Kermit green undid the illusion.

And the base body isn't comparable to a true type body at all

Can anyone put a ruler on the HT Fett and tell me exactly how tall he is? Some of these pics seem misleading.

I'm glad I sold my RAH Boba Fett to get the HT version. I even been excited for the new version ever since it was announced. It will probably be my favorite figure in my collection.

There's actually two videos on youtube. The other is by dfuze or whatever. His review is a lot better that action figure junkie.

Yeah saw that last night! What I like about Action Figure Junkie is how he uses the word "OK"! After watching his reviews I turn to my wife and say "I have to iron my cloths OK! Or I have to take out the garbage OK!!

After watching Dfuze's video I'm way more stoked about this figure. It's all about those angles and how far the camera is away from the figure. To me this looks like a nearly perfect Boba Fett. I haven't been as excited for a figure in quite sometime.
