I much prefer the Asgardian white outfit with blue cape. Hopefully HT will release both versions, although I will be happy if even one of them gets solicited.

i dont get why people think her outfit is boring. i think it looks cool and really nicely done. i would bet she will have a few more accessories by the time this is ready for PO. The sculpt is gorgeous!!! looks so perfect. I mean what were people expecting? like fire to be shooting our of her eyes, or her wearing iron man armor? I am sure she will come with some kind of weapon. this is just a prototype that they wanted to show off at SDCC.

i think it looks awesome!!! :)

I really think this won't see the light of day. HTs is showing 6 figures from this movie. Traditionally, they've never gone deep in the Thor movies so I think the only sure bet are the Thors and Hulk. Loki has a better chance than Hela and a distant Valkyrie.

I hope I'm wrong but based on the taste of the Asian market and HTs past performance, half this wave gets dropped.

Your signature should show some seizure warning or something lol.

I don't think the first costume is boring, but the second trailer outfit would really pop on my shelf. You're right about the sculpt though - it looks great!

yeah the other outfit is cool as well :) i hope they make all of these figures and i think they will. TDW was not a huge hit so they didn't need to go deep. i think they are banking on this will be a more loved film with more iconic and memorable characters.

Hmmm...kinda want that other outfit too. Wow, it's funny, we're now getting closer to building a comic accurate Defenders team in sixth scale. Strange and Hulk are already out.

The other positive thing about the second trailer outfit is that it doesn't have exposed arms, so it doesn't have the exposed joint problem. I think I would prefer the second costume as well.

"spoiler" is just an image from the 2nd trailer

They should have went with the outfit in the new trailer. Much more appealing and closer to the comics.

really? I thought Valkyrie was A) A white norse chick and B) in a black sometimes blue tight suit with circular plates over her ****s

A) In the MCU, the "norse gods" aren't actually really gods or even norse themselves. I'm cool with this as it follows a certain logic that while if the ancient norse people encountered Thor they would of course see him like himself because he does look like them, but for those they may never have actually met (like maybe Heimdall and Valkyrie), and only heard of, they just assumed looked like themselves too. The ancient norse people mythologized the Asgardians and in the process imaged them all looking like they did. This makes sense.

B) the white costume being referred to is a different costume in the comics than the one you describe.

I love the comic version of the character, but I also have no problem with the MCU version and find it consistent with their universe. MCU Asgard is more "real" and bigger when it has diversity and demonstrates how in that universe Asgard is MORE than just a myth. Again, I also love the more literal "norse" interpretation in the comics and confess I think this would have been cool to see, but the world of comic characters are continually being reinterpreted, even in just the comics; I don't have to personally favor every interpretation, but this makes arguments based on claiming to want a hard continuity really flimsy when no such thing even really exists in even just the comics any more. I am happy enough when the movies respect the general essence of who the characters are according to the source material and maintain their own internal continuity while doing it. I think MCU Valkyrie has a good shot at being this and I hope they make a Valkyrie in the 2nd trailer costume.

I think the other outfit is more striking, but I doubt they'll do both.

Absolutely correct but for some reason i remember drawings of her in white. I did some searching and couldn't really find much but there are a few.
