Ok i'll get runefang steel then but what gloss do you recommend? Citadel doesn't seem to have one.

You can use the citadel ardcoat if you want to achieve a glossy finish.

Received my Celtic a few days ago. Such a great figure! The details are superb! My only complaints would be the dark lenses as well as the ratchet joints for the legs. My Scar predator doesn't have ratchet joints, nor do any of the other predators in my collection. I hope it wont be present in future predator figures by Hot Toys. IMO It made Celtic slightly more difficult to pose than previous pred's.

New ratchet joints are awesome, makes for sturdier posing. I dont see how they make posing harder, they arent hard to move...

In fact I maybe pick up a second celtic body to upgrade my scar, and Elder should have them too, which is another bonus

I wouldn't be so much against the ratchet joint if it allowed for smaller adjustments when posing.

Humbrol Enamel gloss, but

Citadel ardcoat is the best choice as mentioned by others.

Is it 100% correct that Celtic has ratchet joints?

How is it different as I haven't received him yet, do you mean the joints make noise when you pose him and they're stiffer?

I get my Celtic either this week or next - can't wait. In the meantime I've bashed together my own Chopper 2.0 to complete the trio. I got parts from TA for the Celtic & Scar and used original chopper parts along with German Beast's custom Chopper bio. I still need to attach the hoses to the helmet and I got a wrist computer/bomb from Scar but I need to drill the holes for the "chopper blades". For now I just have the Celtic net gun on him with the blades.

I'm curious about this too as i thought they just used the scar 2.0 body for celtic.

Yeah i'll probably take off celtic predator left thigh armor when i get mine, just ordered through bbts. I also ordered my runefang steel and ardcoat gloss
but i still have no experience with citadel paints so i'll need some from you guys when painting the eyes. I have to do 2 masks no less.

If I am not mistaken all trio has thigh armors, it just scar has an extra abdominal armor. Also chopper has spiked sandals compared to flat 2 others.

He's very bad ***. Can't wait for mine to arrive. I like him more than the other trio when collectiong the v1. Now I love him even more..

Looks great! Mine will not arrive until June but I'm not in a rush. Kinda getting there now I feel. I'll will strip mine from the chest armour and plasma cannon to get it more movie accurate.

Good. It was always an issue on the older Pred that you couldn't remove the cannons fully.
