When I early finished my flex pay I was charged in the morning and shipped by evening.

not unless its shipping at the time you pay, for example with in stock items and paying off Flex payments early

I just got off the phone with CS. They charged it yesterday and it still says "Item shipping soon". Used to be that the items shipped the day it was "processed" (charged) but now, it can take between three to five "business" days before the item ships from the time it's "processed". So, since a lot of these things seem to get "processed" on a Wednesday, it can take until the following Wednesday before the item actually ships.

The agent I spoke with (I think her name was "Kathy") rather curtly told me "that's always been the policy". When I pointed out that while it may have been the "policy", the order had always shipped the same day it was processed in the past. She said that Sideshow's customer base is a lot bigger now and while the shipping department does an excellent job, customers are asked to observe the 3-5 day business policy for processing/shipping the order.

Alrighty then.

So...I guess the old style of getting your order shipped the same day you pay for it may or may not happen anymore...you just have to wait.
That's the "official policy".

Funny. They charged my card and shipped Thor on the same day for me and that was less than two weeks ago.

I wonder how good of a chance I'd have at getting the exclusive of this if I put myself on the waitlist at this point. I'm guessing I probably should have ordered it a long time ago if I really wanted. Oh well I guess.

They are just processing orders now so I would say there is a good chance it will convert in the next week or so. There are usually a lot of CC declines and cancellations around ship time.

Only problem for me is August is a terribly busy month for Hot Toys figures coming in so not sure if I want to add another to the pile at this point. Especially considering the fact I'd have to full pay it since it's a waitlist item.

I haven't had same day shipping in a long time... I think the first time I noticed the delay was around the time that IG-88 shipped. I think that was a 5 day difference between when I was charged and when he shipped.
