Just found out my local dealer is not getting any Loki to sell. They apparently restricted what figures he could sell.
He had to tell all who preordered thru him to look elsewhere. Is this only happening up north or just small retailers ?

At first I was going to leave my DW Loki in the box but decided to open it and take a look at the differences. The lack of accessories does make it seem like a deal breaker but the sculpt is good. Compared to each other I will say the new sculpt looks a bit bigger maybe fuller but Tom is there. The older head looks good as well and you can see the difference in the two in sizes. I shot a video comparison which I will be uploading later. Here are the two heads though.





Pictures will always look inferior to in hand products. You have to see them both to make a decision. I will be keeping both as they both are unique and different enough for me to keep them, and yankee is right. There will be no avengers loki 2.0 in the next 4 years lol.

Just picked mine up and got him displayed. Seems lighter then other Hot Toys figures. Bummer the box is too tall to fit in my detolf, that box is really nice. Really nice figure though. Very happy with it and thanks to my LCS total was $206!

It's like night and day between this and the Avengers, I don't see the likeness at all in the avengers version anymore.

Went ahead and hopped on the WL for this. If it converts I'll add to the collection, if not I'll live with it. I still prefer the HS and look of the Avengers but this goes with the Asgardians, plus the aether EX is a nice add. Hopefully HT will make Sif and Heimdall.

They sell boxed. When the one on display is the last one, they put a notice and usually the price drops.
