Re: 1/6 Hot Toys - MMS - Guardians of the Galaxy: Thanos Collectible Figure (Toy Soul

Captain Harlock and Throne were $420(Harlock by himself was $250), $450 not gonna happen for Thanos and throne.

Re: 1/6 Hot Toys - MMS - Guardians of the Galaxy: Thanos Collectible Figure (Toy Soul

Hulk was £210 in the UK for me, so I'd expect this to be around £300-350.

I wish I could get hulk buster. I just want to own one figure in 1:6 that is huge. Might do hulk, maybe Thanos. Who knows.

exactly maybe you'll end up with all 3 next year.....

Hulk is impressive, and even when you know to expect a huge figure, it was still a surprise just how massive he is.

I think i have come to the realization that Hulkbuster will be too expensive, but Thanos is a must regardless. Not holding hope for an Infinity Gauntlet but not sure what other accessories he would get besides a second head sculpt.

To be honest no matter what the price is (even if it's crazy) the freak in me will order straight away.

Same here. There's no way I can pass on this!

I saw the figure at the exhibition last week and i'm not too impressed.

maybe it's jsut a prototype now so i'll hold my judgement, but from what i saw, the figure is very much the "classic" action figure, you can clearly see the knee joints and elbow joints with no armor or clothes covering. It's like a blown up marvel legend figure with better details. The boots is also gonna be a huge problem for them as you can see his "toe" section can not bend, and it's in a very awkward position right now.
The armor is a good sculpt but when you've seen the metallic effect on the 1/4 iron man, this just looks very plastic.

my purchasing decision will highly depend on what accessories he's gonna come with, the throne and grin face(HT hasn't done double sculpts in a while) just ain't gonna cut.

I'm not sure how jointed toes would make any sense. Do you have some unique joint in the middle of your foot the rest of us don't? From the position he is sitting in I'm not sure how else his feet would look.

Also, it's supposed to look like a figure. It is one. Only way to completely hide joints is with something like the thor LA or Dutch body. Or hulk. Which half the people seem to hate. And limits articulation. With a figure sitting I wouldn't recommend the rubber body. As for the joints not looking too notch. It's a prototype. This is why a lot of companies hate to show the prototypes. Mattel for example.

As for the armor not looking like metal as the 1/4 scale iron man...both are prototypes. There's no guarantee either will look this way when done. And I'm not sure the 1/4 scale IM looks any more like metal then anything else. Heck the one that IS metal (1/6 scale diecast) most people don't think looks like metal. So I'm not sure what type of argument that is.
