I bet all you guys giving your opinion about what I said all have a Cap and are doing your own little private dance with it now. But now you want to make people feel worse for not being able to get 1. The figure was made in short supply, period. You're not gonna convince anybody it sold out because it was so popular. That's absolute, you know what. Besides, none of you work for SS or HT, so please stop. You don't have to like what people have to say here, so if you don't like it, read it and move on, boys and girls.

Ok, now you're starting to seriously act like a kid who's not getting his way, and at his own fault and ignorance.

Let's recap: I believe AoU Cap went on pre-order at the end of January. So you had all of February, all of March, all of April, all of May, all of June and most of July to acquire this figure at retail. You want it so badly, but yet you managed to miss ordering him all of the aforementioned months. Now it's suddenly HT's fault that you didn't click your mouse?

You can twist it any way you want to and act like you are the "victim" in this whole thing (which I noticed is a common thing people like to do these days is not take responsibility for their own actions; it's always someone else's fault), but really the fault is yours. You failed to order in a timely manner, now you want HT to pander to you and make a special exception for you, as a result of your own error. There was nowhere where it was stated this was an exclusive version. Just like Star-Lord was, it was simply a hot selling figure and it sold fast. Just like you're telling everyone else, you also don't work for HT (SSC is merely a distributor, not a manufacturer) so you can't say for an absolute fact that they made these figures in short supply. You're making that assertion predicated on the myopic fact that you simply missed out on acquiring one at retail price.

Well said.

Whoa whoa, take it easy pal. Don't pop a blood vessel in your brain over my post. Did I hit a nerve with all that I stated. LOL. :lol. Let's just agree to disagree.

Not at all, just eloquently stating that you *****ked up and it's not anyone else's responsibility to pander to you as a result of your own error. Metaphorically speaking, what you're claiming is essentially the equivalent of sleeping in until noon, going down to your local doughnut shop and then complaining to them that they didn't save any of the "good" doughnuts for you and that they should have made more.

As far as striking a nerve though, you seem to be the one attempting to childishly insult others members here, so I'll simply quote Spock from "ST: Into Darkness": "Reverting to name calling suggests you are defensive and therefore, find my objections valid."

Please stop with this drivel. You didn't get an AoU Cap at retail price because other people were just a little faster at ordering than what you were. Accept that, or simply just acquire one off of eBay if you want one so badly. You're not SOL at getting one at all.

Are you done? Do you still feel the need to lecture me? Do you really want an apology, is that what you want. Well, I'm not offering any apologies and I stand firm to what I stated. So you can go on and on and on and everybody else too. Blah blah blah. Like you stated, I need to go to EBay and quick before the price keeps going up and up on this most popular figure of the year. Are you happy now?

I think I said the exact same points to Silver Star last month about this guy as well when he got lucky paying slightly more for his. It is not like it "just" sold out, it was pre-orderable for months, and then for like 5-6weeks after it went up for sale on SS, longer on other sites. Some have said they have 5-6 of this guy, and it's not like it was not the most popular, high grossing $$ movie to date, a lot of collectors that did not collect, now collect due to this movie as well.... I really do not think it was limited whatsoever either. Acting childish will get childish remarks, all pretty simple concepts to most I think. :slap

I had 2 at one point, fairly easy to click and buy. When I bought mine you could see he was starting to sell out but it definitely wasn't an overnight thing. Those that missed retail just waited too long and that is nobody else's fault but the procrastinater. If one doesnt want to pay aftermarket for AoU wait for Civil War, the suits are almost the same.

:rotfl :rotfl :goodpost:

agreed sub, just read the last post he made sums it up, sour grapes. if you can get it for $45 for over initial retail, that's not too bad IMO. buy it or don't like sub said wait for CW version, but don't blame shift.

Wow there has been a lot of angst on this thread in the past 24 hours after reading back lol. Well I wanted to show my latest acquisition via eBay of course. I said I wasn't going to cave and pay the above retail prices but I couldn't help it, it really is such a great figure! Thankfully I was able to score a listing with a decent price and free shipping. I will post more pics with him out and about later tonight when I get home!
