I'm with you on that. I want to order another TWS head soon. My AoU has a lazy eye that I didn't know about until recently..
I had ordered the solo Stealth Cap, then decided I'd get the Rogers sculpt instead of shelling out for the 2-pack. When Cap arrived and he was the supreme disappointment everyone knows and loves, I sold him. AoU Cap was revealed around then, and since he came with a Rogers sculpt, I sold off the WS version.

An irritating cycle, looking back on it. I got it for $55 off TA months ago, dunno what the price is now.

Great photos, Leenart! :clap

Sweet pics, Leenart. :duff

Nice new piece for the collection, Leenart!!

Thanks guys,

I do agree with some that I'm not feeling the looking left Steve sculpt, I feel limited with poseability when using that sculpt.
I also had some troubles switching pegs with the hands, the hands look kinda big and the peghole is quite deep inside the gloves, and his boots look kinda clunky.
But otherwise I feel this is the perfect mix of a classic and modern Cap look, It blows the Avengers 1 version miles away!

Hey! No one talks **** about Coulson's taste! :lol

If you don't mind doing it, that'd be great. I always liked the way those boots looked.

Please stand by, your call is important to us. Your pictures will be with you shortly.

EDIT: Here ya go. Please ignore the Simon Cowell-esque high wasted pants, he just came out of the box. I did adjust them and take another picture but it turned out to be blurry. Just in case anyone hasn't seen the figure, or lives under a rock, the Stealth boot is on the right (Cap's left foot).

Thanks for the pics guys. I don't like his AoU boots either, they always looked more like running shoes than combat boots.

I might try to track down a pair of Stealth boots for mine.

Nice pics, Manannin and Edub! :clap

Personally, I like the ones he wears in AoU over the strike boots and so far from what I've seen, the CW boots. I like the gaiters and the red stirrup. However, like most it seems, I prefer the white stripes on the biceps on the AoU suit and I think I like the CW hands/gloves more. I also prefer the lack of the red around the star on the CW suit.

Now what I think would be really interesting to see, when the CW Cap figure eventually comes out, is if people customize their own Cap figures using the best qualities from both the AoU and the CW suits. For instance, leaving the AoU undershirt on with the white stripes on the biceps and putting the CW vest piece on over it that doesn't have the red around the star. Also, depending on your preference of boots, using the AoU boots or the CW boots. And again, depending on your preference, using the AoU gloves or the CW gloves.

I would personally customize mine using the CW vest piece without the red around the star, over the AoU undershirt with the white stripes on the biceps and most likely keep the AoU pants and boots, but use the CW gloves.

Of course, this all depends on if the CW Cap figure (I hope it does) retains at least roughly the same body size as the AoU figure. Also, the zipper on the vest pieces are very fragile and once taken off, very susceptible to breaking.

I saw one guy put the Avengers suit gloves and boots on the AoU suit. It looked awesome.

I really like this figure, bar one glaring exception, which is the kneepads. Just a poor, lazy design from HT.
