Thanks. I struggle with finding poses for my figures so if I see one I like I usually steal it. Lol

I agree about the white. I prefer the look of the AoU costume. But I'm getting both the CW suits. Lol I think I'll have my Aou back in a non action pose. Maybe holding his shield in front or something. Then the CW figures will be in action poses. One will be in the cap V iron man pose I'm sure.

Here's how I set up mine at work, bit of inspiration from Meinerding's CW artwork

I just picked this guy up and have a M7 in the mail. They will be the only Marvel I own, and can't wait to get creative.

I haven't put mine in a dynamic pose yet. I want to see if I can incorporate the finger-pointing hand somehow, but he's standing on guard at the moment.

Other than having him pick his nose or something, this is the only Cap pose that comes to mind with the finger-pointing hand. Would work in a charge action pose with the rest of the team.

I always think of this Avengers cover by Jack Kirby when we talk of Cap pointing...

Pointing, calling out instructions, that's something Cap does I guess.

The finger pointing hand is so particular, and the fact it crosses from Hasbro all the way to Hot Toys makes me wonder if there is some requirement for it because of artwork. Or some loophole companies need to abide by, because I haven't any recollection of him pointing in the films nor have I seen someone successfully use the hand in display either.

...just found by googling "Captain America pointing". There may be more times he did in the films, who knows.

Anyway, pointing for Cap on a figure is a good way to capture the idea that he is giving orders or directions of some kind. Any Cap figure posed pointing off toward some direction would work great with other figures where it looks like they are about to spring into action at Cap's command. I wish the AoU figure came with a pointing hand so I could pose him gesturing like giving some sort of orders.

Sorry I don't have any pics. Trust me it's not that hard to do, except for prying the magnets out of their respective pockets after making a small incision to get them out. Of course, using tweezers makes it a little easier. The cool thing is that when you put his shield in his hand so that now the back part of his suit is revealed you can't tell at all that you have repositioned the batteries. It's not like they stick out like a sore thumb. In fact, they are just as concealed as when they weren't cut out of their pockets. Yeah, it sucked having such an expensive collectible and the freakin' shield didn't fasten on to his back dead-center. My OCD simply wouldn't allow me to let that ride. I had to do something and luckily it worked!

My OCD wouldn't let me alter the figure. I found that just flipping out the handles centers it on his back.

It does, actually. Perhaps it's just the angle and the lighting, but the hair seems to have less gold streaks than the AoU un-helmeted sculpt and the gaze looks like it's straight ahead. It could just be the lighting and the angle though as mentioned.

I tweaked my latest pose for Cap giving him a more dramatic lean.
You can see the lean more in the second picture, but the angle of Cap on my shelf is more like the first pic...

I have him posed next to Wolverine and it didn't take but a slight turn of Wolverine to make it look like he and Cap were battling it out. :)
