I'm just kidding...wish I could have Mk1, but out of price range. Mk2 I don't like that much... Hopeful for a badass Mk3

I hope so too, and I think they will beef him up a bit... I actually find it kinda lazy that they're using the same armor he had in IM3 in this movie, but I would imagine that's to avoid him stealing too much focus.

They won't go back to the way his first armor looked, but they could still beef him up a bit by giving him an armor similar to this:


It would somewhat match Tony's Mark 45 re-design, especially in the face mask design, but he would still have an S-load of noticeable armament.

The other intersection of price that would be neat to measure is the ebay secondary/market. I will tell you with great certainty that the point where a figure retails for the secondary market for the rare released figures Hot Toys has peaked.

As long as there are people consistently paying $500 for a python they will have room to grow. Unfortunately.

I admire the company's ability to drive sales, we are really seeing a Apple type company working through the high end collectible market being the most innovative and wanted brand.

In contrast, I loathe having to pay for it.

I am not a big fan of War Machine...would rather make sure I get the other Avengers before I put down money for him. Plus it's Diecast. Not the biggest fan of diecast.

This adi granov design is a cool rework of the original mark 2 Rhodey took but I would prefer something more heavily armored for a mark 3. Something that has some sweet guns but handles like 10 tons of tank

I always liked war machine better than iron man tho, I have always been drawn towards the military minded anti heroes that would never shy away from killing a bad guy. Punisher, war machine, deadpool, wolverine, etc

I doubt the next War Machine suit will get any bigger. Seems like the trend is to get smaller and smoother as far as design and the sleekness of a suit.

I really hope you are wrong, while I love the sleek WM mark 2 design and like the idea of Rhodey having a wide range of suits for different tasks, the WM mark 2 is to close to iron mans basic suit for my taste, so the mark 2 should be kept as the sleek fast war machine armor and they should go back to more heavily armed and aromored designs for him like they use a lot in the comics.

Don't get me wrong. I love War Machine as a kid and the big and heavy artillery suits are cool. Just don't see Marvel going back to that direction of his main suit unless he gets his own variants with different suits for different tasks.

I think that the fact that marvel has designated his suits mark 1 and mark 2 show that they plan on introducing new variants for him just like for iron man, they would be stupid not to as it will let them make more money from the sale of new toys and collectibles as well as bring excitement to new films. I'm sure he will not get as many new suits as iron man, but I think with the money marvel brings in that we will see one new suit with each movie and that's why I hold out hope that we may yet see a mark 3 in AOU, but if not we will for sure in civil war.

It's a good question. I don't have a good feel for the overall demand for this figure. The Stealth Mark VII seemed more universally coveted, subjectively speaking.

Well promos usually are I think.... they are the Hot Toys equivalent of gold

That too, but I know some people on here are really weird about what they consider spoilers so I didn't bring it up. (I consider spoilers to be any details from a non-official source that isn't classified as a rumor or speculation)

I can't tell if he's joking or not, which is why I replied as such.

Also, I'm still pretty sure you mean Phase 3, unless you read something different than me.
