Hey I am, just trying to understand an inside joke that's all.

I mean it would be more of an insult to DC if the Mark 7 was the last armor and it had laser beam eyes, bat ears, a sonic cannon arm, a trident, a lasso, a green faceplate with red and yellow lightning bolt color scheme, call it the league buster to make fun of the JLA but that's just me

This figure is nothing more than the IP repainted and yet HT are charging MORE MONEY??? Did i miss something here? Why doesn't he at least have some new armaments? Something to make this figure more than just a repaint.

I have every armor that's dropped so far EXCEPT the GunMetal Mrk.3 and the Mrk.6 and 7 Exclusives. In my opinion this War Machine is less interesting if only because the lack of red accents around the eyes and arc reactor and no additional weapons and mods. I may still get this also, but I'm PURPOSELY waiting and waitlisting myself to let fate decide if it belongs in my collection. Yes it's movie accurate and yes a "true movie armor" but it's also "WHITE NOISE" because of his THREE identical predecessors. Anyone who has the first Mrk.2 WM will tell you the flawless (no simulated scratches and scuffs) matte grey paint is striking. It's in my top 5 armors released so far after both Mrk.4 armors, Milk WM, Igor and Mrk.42 or 43.

Yes, you missed the Head Sculpt of Don Cheadle and the Avengers Base both of which have additional licensing strings attached.

IP had the same Cheadle sculpt though.

That's not how it works, each figure has it's own licensing fees


If you add additional Avengers licensing fees and take into account for the increased costs of energy and shipping in the Asian markets, the increase in price over what IP cost are more then understandable.

Its an exclusive figure, only available to certain retailers..... it will be priced higher in certain regions because of this

That would be you who doesn't undestand it... most Americans who loves comics would get the joke.

I understood. It just was not a good joke. Unless they actually came out in some way and stated why they stopped at 52 most people won't draw that obscure conclusion. The majority of the people watching the movies are not avid comic fans. And some that are don't all read DC. No one would assume marvel studios stopped making its highest selling character just as some silly attempt to reference and draw interest to another company's title. As that's all it would do. It wouldn't hurt DC. It would benifit them, IF anyone got it.
