But still it's not sailing boat slow?

No, but it takes weeks at best. Then the dock. Then to sideshow, where it has to be processed. Then relabeled or packaged. Then shipped out again.

If it's out in Hong Kong it takes about 6 weeks to hit usa markets. Which is a far cry from six months. But hey, feel free to start your own company if you can do better!

Edit-did you also not say that your reason for not responding to half the questions asked of you is "you filter out negativity"? Hmm. Guess that's a selective filter.

The delay gives me something to look forward to, so I don't mind too much. We live in a world of instant gratification, but in a weird way it's sometimes nice to have "forgotten" about a purchase and then to be surprised when it shows up at your doorstep. I know, it's an old-fashioned notion...(didn't Nick Fury say that in The Avengers?).

I cancelled my reservation with a HK seller on one of these this morning as it's just too expensive (£270 shipped). I've considered getting the IM3 version which I actually prefer as far as the lighter, matte colour scheme goes, it's just a shame it doesn't come with a Rhodey head sculpt. I'm also more seriously considering an Iron Patriot which has an awesome paint app (with scuffs) and a Rhodey head sculpt. Both would go just nicely with my recently acquired Mark 42 (which itself was bought instead of the Mark 43 - I don't like the colour scheme). As far as the AoU version goes I find the colour scheme just a little too bland.

You should ask Username about getting a WM Rhodey sculpt. I think he was offering to do customs for a few bucks

If it's out now in Hong Kong then why isn't the release in the west until August, September or October?

This is not how you conduct business.

They are the test market for QC issues. If they didn't do that the MK42 shoulder issues wouldn't have been fixed and the returns across the Pacific would be a logistical nightmare.

Ah I see.

And what do the Hong Kongers think about being the test market?
