I think this is the best shot I could get. Over the weekend, I took a friend's advice and used very hot water, along with some rubbing alcohol and "washed" a lot of the effect off. It looks like the sealant they used was probably at the end, and spluttered a little heavier on the spots that look white in the image. That took care of most of it, and I used some clear matte paint to cover the other areas that were a little too thick to come off.

Yeah yours got bedazzled somehow..mine's not that shiny. Watch out for knockoffs of a custom

Both versions are fine on mine..no glitter

its definitely a knockoff the mouth and eyes are slightly different which would explain the paint difference

I think that looks kind of neat.. looks like it's sweat or some kind of liquid coming out of his wounds.

With today's Deadpool 2 announcement, it will be kinda hard pretending that a Cable figure could be part of the MCU on the display shelf when his face would resemble...

Thanos's.
:(

Love this guy.

Hey guys,

With the first batch - how likely is it for the wrist issue to occur?

What's a reasonable price to pay for a second hand 1st batch Deadpool with no signs of wrist issues so far?

Thanks!

This is tough because reasonable is very relative. If it is damaged but you intend to articulate the figure a lot anyways and it doesn't bother you I would say SRP. If it isn't damaged yet then maybe more for a mint figure but it really just depends on how much you want it. I payed $260 for a second batch but I have no idea what this figure goes for now.

FYI, just get a 2nd or 3rd batch wrist peg and you will be ok. I too bought a first batch DP, and got a set of pegs from TA and I haven't had any problems.
