Awesome responses from everyone. Gave me a little insight into the character. Looking forward to the movie. Never really have time now-a-days to sit down and read a series of comics so hopefully the movie will do him justice.

really enjoying the marketing campaign for this :lol

:lol that's awesome!

I admire how they are doing the marketing. I can see everybody working around the movie is dedicated to it and using the deadpool humour on 100%.

Check out what rob liefeld posted....john Hamm as cable! Make this happen, dead pool needs his buddy and I need the figure so my deadpool figure can ride on his shoulders

This guy is looking great. Me and my friend were obsessed with deadpool as kids, we went from comic shop to comic shop looking for the marvel legends figure of him. I never really got into his comics though, recently found him to be annoying in one of the xforce books I read ( which was awesome ). Looking for a hero to represent marvel in my collection and if this movie turns out great I just might order him.

I can't even begin to decide which eyes I'll be settling with. I like his angrier, more aggressive eyes but I think having one looking more wide-eyed is like a deadpool staple.

That's what xforce thought of him too :lol Deadpool is one of those characters that people either love or they hate. If you have matured like a normal adult, he's probly not for you. You kind of need a twisted immature sense of humor and inability to grow up to really appreciate the character.

I'm not the biggest fan of Deadpool when all he is is just being goofy and a comedic character. My favorite version of Deadpool is by far from Remender's X-Force run. He had the right amount of humor imo, and the perfect amount of heart as well.

^ yes that's the one I read too, a great read even though I have not kept up with comics at all. He was cooler when I knew nothing about him and just loved the design. Honestly the trailer wasn't really funny either. But if their is good action, blood , and decent plot I won't mind the crappy humor.

Ya like I said people either love him or hate him. If you didnt like remenders uncanny xforce deadpool or any of the "crappy humor" of the movie trailer, then I'm not sure why you would have any interest in the character or the movie? You can find a red ninja with guns somewhere else I'm sure or perhaps you meant to look up Slade Wilson :wink1: :lol

Oh yeah I would kill for a death stroke. But again it's not like I've read any actual deadpool, or well received deadpool books. Actually if someone could point out any good runs I'm down to give it a read. And it's not that I'm dissing his character completely. Love that he is in the Xmen universe, and often times meets up with spidey.like I said as a kid he was just the coolest thing to me. ( it's a shame really I would love a spidey or a wolverine but I don't think hot toys will ever make a decent costumed version of either)

A lot of people wish he was death stroke, when really he was created as a shot at dc's death stroke and evolved into the fourth wall breaking merc with a mouth many of us have grown to love. I would recommend some great deadpool runs but honestly if you didn't like remenders run or the comedy of the movie trailer, then I doubt you would like them very much either. Don't give up hope on a HT spidey or wolverine tho, I'm sure they will make a version you like eventually, maybe even soon with spidey, if you end up liking the CW design.

With marvel studios track record I'm guessing we will get something visually uninteresting for spiderman. That's another thing about deadpool, his kickass costume is very cool and will pop well on a shelf. I also just like the over all look for dead from the trailers, kind of bright and gritty and what seems like well shot action scenes. I think I take back saying deadpool was annoying in xforce, maybe he just didn't have enough of a story for himself as the other characters. As a matter of fact he was one of the reasons I bought the book in the first place. Either way this figure is one of the best I've seen from hot toys, is any one worried about the articulation being restricted by the suit? The pics make him look pretty pose-ability

I had always hoped he was Madcap.

Hadn't realised they'd already teamed up.

I thought marvel has transitioned their characters beautifully as far as costumes go. Thor, guardians, and iron Man (and Black panther) look as good as the comics and Cap, Winter soldier, falcon, loki, odin have looked even better. Hawkeye is the one main-stayer who has disappointed imo.
