I personally fancy one myself, since 99.9% of my friends won't be able to tell the difference but I don't see this selling well at all.

just got delay notification for this. Apparently its pushed back for July - August. So I figure that means Late July for HK and September for everyone else LOL

There are at least a couple of reputable Asia-based power sellers on eBay that have these in-stock, if interested. They've got listing photos of the actual art box in hand, instead of the stock photos from Hot Toys' website. The prices are marked-up on what already feels like a bloated retail price, but the "Best Offer" option is available.

You can also message them to ask how much their direct PayPal invoice price is, they will typically knock some off since they won't have to pay eBay fees.

I like it. Its a good general representation for more casual fans.

But how will it sell being most people who would dump 250 on a terminator are no casual fans?

I really hate that thing. Cameron's whole notion in the first film was the Terminator could wield two handed firearms with one, because it was that strong. Having it carry this giant humidifier with two hands looks dumb IMO.

Well, a lot of the design is potentially reusable right? The bigger issue is if this doesn't sell well.

The Genisys endo was reworked almost completely by top CG artist Vitaly Bulgarov. I don't think there's a single piece that's the same as on the original.

Even he acknowledges it was basically a pointless endeavour. I don't think he did too badly all things considered.

THANK GOD that Hot Toys didn't add black to the forearms, fingers, hips, and back, like on Bulgarov's design. Got to at least give them credit for that....

While I don't like it, at least it would of at least matched the shoulder sockets. Having only two black parts on it while the rest if chrome

It's a strange choice for being the only contrasting thing on it.

Might be another nail in the Terminator line from HT.
I blame the movie, it sucked big time and distorted the whole Terminator mythology. Made Salvation look like a masterpiece, oh and how long ago did this turkey get its premier? Having said that I still got the other Genisys fig.
