Coming toward the end of quarter 2. Anyone know if those Doc heads are going out anytime soon?

I have to repose Marty, now that Doc is here, he looks too calm...

Maybe not, maybe hopefully I can wait for the new Doc head to arrive, and Doc will look less dynamic with the new head lol.

Nope. Maybe they were inundated with orders, so its taking them extra time to get them all made?

I don’t think we’ve seen that one on a Doc figure; I certainly can’t recall it.

Ah, yeah. That’s them. Side by side look fine, but the puffy suit makes it look undersized. Hopefully some futzing to the rescue.

I adjusted the height offset to make it a bit of a fairer comparison.

Definitely a little bit undersized, but not as bad as many claimed at the time, IMO.

I know they've only reworked the HT sculpt, but it is a bit better. Not a vast improvement, but it's okay.

Yeah, really can't complain for the price.
I just hope that there is not much downgrade for the production piece.

NECA’s isn’t great but at least they gave Doc a smirk. All the HotToys and customs are so dour

True, but so many sculpts have fallen into the uncanny valley and never returned when their creators tried to give them a smile or smirk. Takes a top notch sculptor to pull it off, and not just someone working on an undersized HT recast.

Plus every time a company showcases a sculpt with a bit of life, a billion people pile on Facebook moaning.
