Yeah this looks a lot more monochrome now

Much more like a NECA version. We’ll see how it looks in the videos and photos once displayed at their store, but I don’t expect it’ll look anywhere near as good as the initial prototype.

They did a really good job hiding the joints to the point where it essentailly looks seamless.

Proper joints confirmed, this is the kind of pose we should be able to hit.

Love the updated base as well. Much cooler with the little bits of hive gunk all over.

I just wish they didn't change the skin texture. There's no reference where the body looks this rough. Makes it harder to read the wrinkles and ridges that are supposed to be there.

There weren't any eggs in this movie IIRC. But there were vacuum-sealed bags for the facehuggers.

Actually I saw a comment on FB I think about the face huggers in the movie and the person said they saw a normal coloured one in the movie.
I’m going to watch again to see if I can spot it

Personally I prefer the proto. I like the paint scheme better and like the smooth shoulders over so much texture. I just signed up for RSVP updates on him at Sideshow as they’re still showing *it as coming in the future. Time will tell. Would enjoy seeing our main hero from the movie as well. She did a great job in her role.

Oh yeah the scorched alien does have the texture on the shoulders.

The HT does look a lot like the Xeno animatronic here.

Looks like a blend of the NECA Big Chap and Isoation Xenos to me as I did collect the Neca versions, but had to unload them due to space constraints. This is another contender in my 1/6 collection even though I'm trimming out my mixed hobby collection to the ones that I'm still interested in.
