Looking forward to the Blu-ray release, because so far this one's a lot better than TFA. Not estimated until April 2017.

K-2SO is the comic relief. He's reminiscent of Threepio, but is also very literal, direct and tactless like Drax in Guardians of the Galaxy.

I like the humour in RO. In keeping with the overall dark tone the humour is well placed and well played, especially when compared to the ridiculously misplaced 'humour' of the PT (i.e., terrible dialogue and certain jarring and rogering characters).

He also has an OT inspired design, so looks like he'll fit into an OT display. And needn't necessarily be K-2SO, since he wasn't the only one of his kind in the film.

The one Jyn shot in front of K-2 had red. But I really meant that K-2 can stand in a display as an imperial droid - he's versatile.

K-2 has yellow, and I think there was one on Scarif with white.

I notice a great bit of robot face design from the photo at the top of this thread. Does the K in K2SO stand for Ken Dodd? We should be told.
