The long wait for this guy is pretty annoying. They really do need to have these figures ready for the release of the film. Imagine how much more they would sell if they were already shipping..

Yeah it's an even worse compressed copy streamed on a site like Solarmovie that's also been up on trackers since Friday.

Never been there. This was from a more (in)famous site.

Still better than having to go to a cinema whist awaiting the Blu-ray release.

None of the streaming sites like that are illegal for the end user. So I wouldn't say "infamous" except they keep having to change domains for failing to comply to DCMA.

Either way it's still a Cam so even the torrented file looks about the same.

Also, something something K2

It's enough to see the story, the visuals and get all the dialogue. At the end it I liked it enough to pre-order K-2SO.

Also, I like to have a film available so I can watch it from any point whenever the mood strikes, and to pause or rewind which is another thing I have against going into a cinema.

There's a lot going on in RO, a lot of background characters and scenes that will make the Blu-ray indispensable.

It's unclear if streaming copyrighted content is illegal or not. Downloading obviously is, but I was asked about streaming a few weeks ago and the answers online re: illegality are a bit vague.

I've streamed a handful of movies to check it out but have never illegally downloaded (I have family and friends however who would be #1 illegal downloaders globally.)

When ROTJ was coming out, which was a Star Wars film I did see in the cinema, I was hungry for images from the film.

So anything in magazines or newspapers was a precious artefact.

Debenhams the department store had a dedicated closed off Star Wars toy area that you could walk into. Inside was a television playing a constant loop of clips from the film. And for a few days Darth Vader was there signing autographs. He didn't speak, but he signed himself 'Darth Vader', so I knew it was him. :lol

I saw pics from the UK of a 1980/ESB-era display in a department store that had the actual Snowtrooper and Fett costumes, plus a few droids. I hope you were able to see that.

Unfortunately nothing as cool as that. :(

The 1983 display I remember was an area sectioned off with cardboard scenery, containing the toys and with the TV playing non-stop clips. But it felt special anyway. :lol

Plus Vader visiting, which was quite intimidating. I don't know who was in the suit as he never spoke and only signed 'Darth Vader'.

At 95 minutes on the left side of the screen:

This guy got a better shot of him, as you can see his orange head:

Awesome, thank you! Despite my dislike for this film, I would buy Chopper.

Saw that K2 was coupon eligible so ordered. I can't wait for this guy even though at time of shipment he'll most likely be a Christmas present for next year.

Well, I just pre-ordered K2 using the Holiday code that came with my Probe Droid.

Will have to wait for another code to pre-order Jyn Deluxe and I'm good to go with "Rogue One" figures.*

*Unless we get another heavy discount Black Friday sale next year...

I wonder if it was the same person (or several persons) going around the world, or if they simply sent the suit to each country and used local people.

I know the guy that visited my toystore at the time of Jedi looked pretty much like this guy (a local celebrity),

since i was so excited to see Vader that I basically camped at the store for the whole day when it was supposed to take place. So I saw a tall guy going in to an office and after a while out came Vader. :)

I absolutely LOVED K2SO! I want him and Cassian on my shelves. I really hope that Cassian doesn't get "Poe Dameron'd"

Considering he was an actual character and poe wasn't much of anything, I'd say you don't have much to worry about.

I was thinking the old man at

Vader's house

was Snoke.

A few people have mentioned this to me

I don't see it as likely, he seemed more like a priest/servant/space Alfred type character, remember that Snoke seduced Kylo to the dark side, only a Master could do that, someone with immense power, I don't think Vader or palpatine would keep that kind of Sith around them, and definitely wouldn't let him answer Vaders door and clean out his tank :lol
